"Aro will want us incapacitated befofe he attacks," Edward explains. "Jane and Alec will try and take me out first because I can anticipate their moves.
"Too bad we don't all of your sheild or siren songs," Garrett comments.
"Doesn't help us fight," Veronica says sternly.
"No, but the shield could help the rest of is if you could project it," Tanya says to Bella.
"What do you mean?" Bella asks.
"I mean sheild someone other than yourself," Tanya replies.
"Is that possible?" The shield asks.
"Gifts can be developed, over time," Carlisle replies.
"At first, mine was just in my palms," Kaye says, "now I can radiate it all over my body."
"When when I began my siren song, they weren't as... alluring," Veronica coos. "I get a tail too."
"You do?"
"Excuse us," Veronica coos toward the vampries. "This could be an advantage."
Carlisle nods and Veronica leads her niece inside. Apparently Rayne will grow a tail like a freaking mermaid in the water now that she's twenty.
"We can go to La Push, first beach," Rayne says. "There's a cliff."
"Call the alpha over there and be sure it is okay," Veronica states. "Let's see your tail."
Rayne grabs her cell and texts Sam.
To: Alpha Uley Hey! Can me and my aunt go to the Rez? It's something for my siren.
From: Alpha Uley Yes, of course. You and your aunt aren't apart of the treaty.
"He said it's okay."
Rayne and Veronica go to the cliff the young siren had mentioned.
"Strip nude," Veronica says. "Trust me."
Rayne doesn't argue, because Veronica knows all bout this. The young siren grips, Paul Lahote is watching from to trees to see why she and another siren are here. The wolf's eyes widen when the stunning Veronica Rhône strips.
She jumps first and as soon as hits the water, Veronica's tail magically grows, causing a light in the water as Paul's wolf trots up beside Rayne.
"Whoa," Rayne breathes. "You think mine will be cool?"
Paul glances at her and Rayne suddenly blushes. Realizing she's naked. She pets his snout before she jumps. As soon as she hits the water, the magic forms around her and she changes.

Her tail is a metallic black color and her hair grew to her lower back,n and it's a charcoal black now. Her top half is completely nude but as the mermaid siren, there are no nipples. She looks around and she is amazed.
"Amazing, huh?" Veronica asks as she swims up to her nice.
"Oh, yeah," Rayne replies. "Paul is probably trying to figure why in the he'll I stripped naked on the cliff."
Veronica smirks. "At least you're not into men, right?"
"Right," Rayne replies and they swim to the surface.
Their legs grow back and when they look up, they see a shocked Sam, who is also holding their clothes.
"Well. That's new," Sam comments as he drops the clothes. "You have a tail now?"
"Apparently," Rayne replies as she dresses. "And now both you and Paul have seen me naked."
"And Paul won't shut up about it," Sam chuckles. "And the pack saw too. Mind link."
"Oh, god," Rayne frowns. "Jared, too? Embry?"
Sam smirks. "Yep... Charles was sleeping when I left."
Rayne smiles. "Thank you guys for keeping him."
"He's safe on the Rez," Sam says.
"I know."
Rayne and Veronica soon return to Forks, and tell the Cullens of her new addition.
