Jasper hugs Rayne when she comes into the party, the graduation party is on blow now. Jessica and other new graduates are dancing. Bella is talking to Embry and Jacob. Alice is with Esme and Carlisle upstairs.
"You're about to give birth soon, aren't you?" Jasper teases.
"Anytime," Rayne replies. "I'm going to find food."
Rayne meets eyes with Rosalie before she heads upstairs. Esme smiles adoringly as she hugs the siren.
"There you are," Esme coos. "I was hoping that you would show."

Rayne has been talking to the Cullens over the phone over the past couple weeks. They discovered that the killings in Seattle were someone turning people into vampires for a newborn army type thing. They were all preparing to go to Seattle to defend them, with Rayne and her siren ability.
Rayne goes downstairs amd she stops beside Alice, who is in a vision. She touches her forearm and Alice looks at her, eyes wide. Rayne drags Alice into the den and she gathers the pack and the Cullens, plus Bella.
"They'll be here in four days," Alice tells everyone as they gather in the den, away from the party.
"This could turn into a blood bath," Carlisle states as he leans against the snack table beside Rayne, who is eating some crackers and salsa.
"Who's behind it?" Edward asks from beside Bella.
" I didn't see anyone I recognized," Alice replies from her spot next to Jasper, who's eyes are golden today. And then she sighs. "Maybe one."
"I know his face," Edward says with furrowed eyebrows. "He's local. Riley Biers. He didn't start this."
"Whoever did is staying out of the action," Alice chimes in.
"They must be playing with the blind spots in your visions," Carlisle says to her.
"Either way," Jasper speaks up, "the army's coming and there aren't enough of us to protect the town even with Rayne's singing."
"Hold up," Jacob says from where he is by Embry and Quill. "What damn army?"
"Newborns," Carlisle replies, still beside Rayne. "Our kind."
"What are they after?" Embry asks curiosity as he stands up off the wall he's leaned against.
"They were passing around Bella's scent," Alice replies. "A red blouse."
"They're after Bella?" Jacob's demeanor changes when he hears this. "What the hell does this mean?"
"It means an ugly fight... with lives lost," Carlisle replies.
Jacob stares at Carlisle for a moment before turning to look at Quill, whom doesn't really react. Quill is tense and in a protective stance, the pack have been since Rayne became pregnant and moved to the Rez. Jacob turns to look at Embry, who nods.
"All right," Jacob says as he turns back to the cold ones. "We're in."
"No," Bella denies quickly. "You'd get yourselves killed."
"I wasn't asking for permission," Jacob replies sharply.
"Edward..." Bella says pleadingly.
Edward looks at Jacob for a moment before he turns his head to the Swan girl. "It means more protection for you."
"Jacob," Carlisle says as he crosses his arms, "do you believe Sam would agree to an understanding?"
"As long as we get to kill some vampires," Jacob says as he and Jasper look at each other.
"Jasper?" Rayne speaks up.
The empath glances at the siren. "They'll give us the numbers. Newborns won't even know they exist." He looks from Jake to Rayne once more. "Like you, it'll give us an edge."
"We'll need to coordinate," Carlisle says as he stands up, he still stays near Rayne.
"Carlisle," Bella says pleadingly as she stands, as well. "They're gonna get hurt."
"We'll all need some training," Carlisle says and turns to Rayne. "You won't come in unless they get the upper hang. You are going to be in a tree, a secure tree that Jasper or myself will put you in."
"Got it," Rayne reploes with a smile.
"Fighting newborns requires knowledge that Jasper has," Carlisle continues to the wolves. "You're welcome to join us."
"All right," Jacob agrees as he steps closer to the coven leader. "Name the time and place."
"Jake," Bella says softly, pleadingly. "You don't know what you're getting yourself into."
"Bella," Jacob chimes as he looks at the brunette. "This is what we do. You should be happy; look at us, working together. You are the one who wanted us to get along, remember?"
Rayne stands up and she smiles at Jasper. "Jasper."
"Ma'am," Jasper mumbles as he kisses the back of her hand. "I will return later."
Rayne nods and she heads home. Paul is sitting up and she sits with him, until Sam calls for a pack meeting. Paul sighs before he tells both Rayne and unborn baby Charles he'd be back and leaving.
Rayne eats some leftover pizza and she goes to bed. The training starts whenever Carlisle and Sam agrees to it.
