"Tenshi-sensei, you're back! it's been years!" was the first thing I heard the moment I entered the gates of the village, I chuckled and shook my head at their foolishness.
"we weren't that slow, it was only a week"
"yeah, a week, which means it's time for another training session!"
"yeah!" They all chorused, I snorted and nodded.
"I'll teach you some more taijutsu later after I've unpacked, okay?" They all giggled and ran off. I made my way to my house after dropping Kaida off, entering I went upstairs and changed out of my mission clothes, putting them in the basket and with my nightclothes that were still in them from before I left and filled up the machine with the dirty clothes, now wearing simple shorts and a sweater, relaxing after the long trip home.
as the machine started washing the clothes, I pulled my hair out of the bun and let it flow down, raking my fingers through the white strands I grabbed a brush and got rid of the knots before leaving it down, pushing it behind my ear as I headed downstairs to talk to the other four about the idea of moving to a safer location with easy access to another village.
"We heard you both were back" coming to a stop, I found the four sitting at the kitchen table, I shook my head at their appearance and took a seat at the end of the table, extending the scroll Gaara wrote about the area of where we could move the village to. Daisuke took it from my extended hand and began to unscroll it.
"our village is starting to grow and may continue to do so for many years to come, the Kazekage to-be and I spoke about an area nearby The Sand Village where we could possibly move to, it would give us a lot more protection from rogues, a better food source and cleaner water streams. it's also nearby the village in case we need to evacuate" I spoke up serious, pulling out the map and circling the exact spot of where Gaara spoke about.
"The Kazekage to-be will also help us relocate if we decide to, also helping with the building of the walls around the village and houses within the village. they'd be happy to form an alliance with The Village of Ushinawareta Hitobito" Daisuke read out from the scroll.
"well I for one think it's a wonderful idea, it's true that this area isn't the best in terms of protection, the walls are short and easily knocked over, I'd say moving is the smart choice" Asuna spoke up.
"I agree. we'll be able to widen our gardens and farmland, we won't go hungry even in winter times if we make the move. that being said, I'm sure everyone in the village would love the idea of cleaner water supply" Ren added, making valuable points.
"Would the village be on sand?" Hideo questioned.
"majority of the village will be on grass, if the walls allow some parts to be sand, we could use that area as something the children can train in, it would be less harmful than now with the children training so close to our homes" Daisuke answered, referring to the map.
"if the sand is something you don't want covering too much of the ground, I'm sure we could tweak the area and move slightly more east just until only a small amount of the village is sand holding" with that, Hideo agreed.
"why don't you go and give the children their taijutsu training while we go around telling the others that we'll be moving the village soon?" I nodded.
"I'll send a messenger hawk to The Kazekage to-be informing him of our choice, when the aid he sends arrives we'll begin to move, I don't want to risk anyone getting left behind, lost or hurt"
