"do be careful on your way back" I spoke monotonous, I noticed Asuna glancing at me from my peripheral vision a couple of times but decided to ignore it. I watched as the Leaf Shinobi turned and began to walk out of the village, probably never to come back. i turned and began to walk back to the office, there was paperwork to be done afterall.
"Tenshi.." I ignored Asuna as she called for me as I sensed her stop following me after a few steps. as I finished my walk to the building I entered and took a shaky breath, continuing to try and get ahold of my breathing before I ultimately start crying. I was a shinobi, we weren't allowed to cry, so why would I cry now? it's not like I've been getting dreams of Mina-otou or anything.
I sat at the desk, controlling my emotions the best I could, flipping through each piece of paper and scroll, after an hour I found myself sitting there with nothing to do. I had completed everything. I spun the chair towards the large windows and stood up, walking over to them and opened one of them, shivering instantly at the feeling of the cold breeze wash over me like some sort of medicine. I gripped the windowsill as I stared out at the village, digging my nails into the wood as I bit the inside of my cheek.
"Tenshi-sama.. there's someone from The Cloud Village here to see you.." I tensed, narrowing my eyes in wonder. how has anyone besides Konoha and Suna found out about us? unless one of them sent out word that there was another village, but why? who? could it have been Lord Hokage? is that why she sent so many people here to check up on the welfare of the village, even if they didn't investigate physically I could sense the Hyuuga's using their dojutsu all over..
"I see, any idea on what they're here for?"
"they didn't say, they look very serious though..." I nodded, clenching my jaw and sitting back down at my desk, a few moments later three Cloud Shinobi were stood in front of me. I looked them over silently, unsure of why they were in the village.
"I heard you wished to speak with me?" I questioned as calmly as I could, the red haired woman of the Cloud stood forward, pushing her hand into her weapon pouch and pulled out a white scroll, extending it towards Asuna who took it from her gracefully before passing it over to me.
"I am Karui, leader of this team. we have come on behalf of The Raikage, we wish to make an alliance with Ushinawareta Hitobito.." I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, unraveling the scroll in my hands to expose a personal letter from the Raikage.
"To Leader of Ushinawareta Hitobito,
After hearing about a new village beginning to come forth, with much thought and discussion we have found that it would be in our best interest to make an alliance, you're a small village with low shinobi numbers, I wish to make a proposal in return of our aid; marry my brother, afterall, there isn't any other way you could avoid your village being attacked by Cloud Shinobi.

I looked up from the scroll towards the three Cloud Shinobi, the scroll in my hold suddenly burst into flames and went up into smoke. I narrowed my eyes dangerously at the shinobi standing in front of me, squinting, I gritted my teeth once more as I stood, pushing my hands down onto the desk in front of me as I raised my head and stared directed at Karui who took a step back upon meeting my stare.
"tell your Raikage that I refuse his proposal, I won't be marrying his brother and if he wishes to attack my village, then he'll have a bloodbath on his hands, I won't stop until all of you Cloud Shinobi are dead"
