"Fuck." I turned my head around in astonishment as I heard the curse word fall from Shisui's lips, gaping I couldn't figure out what to say in response to him swearing at his homework that Ren had given out to all the children, I pursed my lips and looked back down, deciding to ignore it this time.

"I should sacrifice you to fucking Jashin." I let my pen drop in exasperation, bringing my hands up to my face I sighed deeply into them, pulling my hands away to see as I turned to Shisui to see him now standing on the chair in the kitchen, glaring down at the paper in front of him, I sweatdropped immediately.

"language Shisui" I warned softly, I heard him huff before he readjusted himself to be sitting once more, I watched him from my peripheral vision as his eyes once more hardened and the pencil in his hand snapped under the force he was gripping.

"you motherfu-"

"okay, no more of that tonight, go take a bath" I interrupted, ushering him out of the seat and up the stairs, with each step I heard him mumble about stupid homework before the sound of his bedroom door opened. I sweatdropped and reached over the table, grabbing his homework and looking it over.

five main chakra types:
wind
water
fire
earth

I see, he's having trouble remembering the last main chakra type, well at least it wasn't anything actually difficult for someone his age. I set his homework back down on the table, just as I heard the shower begin running upstairs. I sighed contently and rubbed the back of my neck, tilting my head to hear it crack nicely before my attention moved to the side.

"there is such things as doors, Itachi" I greeted, spotting him enter through the open kitchen window, landing quietly on his feet.

"I had a feeling something was wrong" I blinked.

"nothing other than the fact that he was having trouble with some homework"

"I see, has anything else happened?"

"he has some..strong language for someone his age" I answer slowly, Itachi's eye twitched, as if knowing something about the fact that Shisui swore every time something got difficult or if it was directed to something he didn't like or agree to.

"I had to leave him in the care of someone else in the Akatsuki on multiple occasions, I assume he got the colorful language from him."

"you should stay for awhile, let him see you. he's been dying for your visit, literally, he's been moping" I deadpanned, Itachi slowly nodded to my words, just as the water turned off from upstairs. in a few short moments, heavy footsteps came down the stairs revealing Shisui who once seeing Itachi broke into a large smile and ran towards him.

"Daddy!"

"have you been good for Tenshi?" Shisui nodded excitedly, bouncing almost in his stance.

"I always listen and brush my teeth!" I snorted, ignoring the glare Shisui sent my way, knowing full well he was trying to look good for his father. Shisui, other than his foul language, was a good kid, so I had no complaints.

"I hear you're having trouble with your homework" Shisui nodded, beginning to scowl over at the table where his homework sat.

"I can't remember the last stupid chakra type"

"language" Itachi reminded, Shisui huffed and crossed his arms.

"do you remember my chakra types?" I wondered, Shisui nodded.

"you have fire, lightning and water. fire being your main while lightning and water you trained for" I nodded.

"which means the chakra type you're forgetting is?"

"lightning! Lord Jashin what a stupid chakra type, couldn't you have made it more rememberable" I snickered.

"Shisui."

"Sorry..."
