Everyone in the village were in their homes, the shinobi that came from the leaf were in the inn we had built, a good decision on Asuna's part. I walked the path of the village, taking in everything while it was quiet and peaceful. the village seemed like something out of a mere fantasy, who would have thought that such a beautiful village could come to life so easily? after our farmlands had started to grow, it seemed to draw in animals from the desert and bundle of trees around us, we now often had rabbits and birds hanging around.

every now and again a scorpion would find its way inside the walls, but none of the villagers seemed to be bothered by their appearances, if anything, they seemed to enjoy finding them, almost like it was a game of hide and seek. none of the scorpions had stung anyone either, so either they weren't feeling threatened or they liked the sound of people laughing as they uncovered their hiding spot. the children were meant to be back by now, that's why I was walking in the village, waiting for them.

I looked over the village to see them all in their homes, bending my knees I pushed up off the ground and landed on one of the roofs, quietly making my way to the wall and jumping over it, falling a few feet before landing in the warm sand. I continued to run to Sunagakura, to make sure they hadn't gotten themselves into any mischief. I managed to enter the village without seeing a single guard, focusing on the chakra signatures in the village I located the Kazekage.

I jumped from roof to roof until I landed on the Kage building, entering through a windowless windowsill, I fell quietly into a standing position besides Gaara who was writing at his desk, in front of him were the children of my village, asleep on the floor. I chuckled to myself at the sight, Gaara's hand stopped writing and his head turned instantly, once seeing me, he began to write once more.

"you should get a bell, Tenshi-san"

"I should, Shouldn't i?" I mused, I looked over the children quietly, they were all unharmed, fast asleep. I shook my head at their energy limit and did my best not to wake any of them up from their sleep.

"they were about to leave when they suddenly collapsed like that, I was writing a messege to inform you" I nodded.

"I honestly thought they'd have knocked out sooner, I guess they had fun today"

"Is the reason you said no to marrying me because I'm the one tails?" I paused, feeling a cold chill go over my spine. I turned towards him slowly, he was staring at me with no emotion in his sea foam green eyes, I looked away after a few seconds, closing my own eyes before shaking my head.

"i didn't know you were a jinjuriki, but no, that's not the reason"

"is it possible that I ask what is?" I sighed softly, bringing my arms up to hug myself somewhat, feeling the emotion of blue seeping over my mind.

"because The Fourth Hokage promised to be there for me when I got married but he's not, he's never going to be"

"The Fourth Hokage.."

"he was my father and saved me from falling to my death when I was three"
