|Chapter 11: Meeting|

You slept peacefully on your bed until you heard the sound of someone knocking on the door, your mom yelled that she was going over soon that they should wait on a minute. She then opened the door and mentioned someone handsome and young.

You opened the door slightly to your room to reveal Maruki at your living room. You quick shut the door and locked it.

"Y/N? You're not awake are you? Look who's here!" Your mother said cheerfully.

What is he doing in my place..?! Out of all places he had to come here...?!

You took a look at the mirror and noticed your hair was a big mess and you looked awfully tired. Your hair looked like a bird's nest. You were wearing pjs to sleep and to think you'd come out looking like this...?!

"Is Y/N in her room?" You heard Maruki ask.

"Yeah, she was sleeping but it seemed she shut the door. Make yourself at home doctor, I'll return. I just have to go to the store and buy stuff I'll be right back." Your mom left.

It was just you and Maruki alone in your place. Although you were inside your room you still couldn't get yourself to get out of your room and face him like this. Not with messy hair or a tired looking face.

You heard a knock on your door.

"Hello Y/N? It's me, Maruki... Why don't you come out?" Maruki said.

You stayed silent in an attempt to make him go away but... He continued knocking. He was trying to get you to leave your room so that you show yourself.

"I know you're in there." Maruki said.

"....I'm  not coming out..." You muttered.

"Why not? It's me! You can come out, it's okay?" Maruki cheerfully said.

"I look like trash right now... Please don't..." You shamefully said.

"Trash...? I'm sure you don't look like that now. Here, why don't you just come out and show me yourself? I'm sure you look completely fine." Maruki said.

You agreed and opened the door to your room, you stepped out and looked down. You looked over at Maruki seeing his face was in shock.

"I know... I look like trash. You can say it if you want to." You said.

"Trash...? You look hilarious...! I'd understand if you have a bad hair day sometimes. I have some too." Maruki laughed.

You looked at Maruki who messed his hair up to make you feel better. He looked different with messy hair. You laughed at his hair and said he looked funny.

The two of you ended up laughing together until your mom came back with groceries.

"It seems like you two were having fun without me. Man am I jealous." Your mother frowned.

"Sorry Mrs. L/N, I was just telling Y/N how she shouldn't be ashamed about her messy hair. It's only natural to have messy hair and look so tired." Maruki said.

Your mom and Maruki continued talking while you went back inside your room to comb your hair and dress into something with the door closed. Once you were about to open the door you heard your mom ask a question.

"So what's your relationship with Y/N?" Your mother asked Maruki.

"Our relationship? Are you that curious to find out?" Maruki asked.

"I'm dying to know, what is your relationship together?" Your mom kept questioning.

"Well me and Y/N get along quite well, I'd love to get to know her more better but she's a very kind and shy individual. She's never been open with me until now. I'm proud to say that I'm happy that she's opened herself up to me and seems she confides in me a lot. I look forward to knowing her better. She's a very great person I like so much." Maruki smiled.

Your face turned red hearing that out of him. You pretended not to hear by plugging earphones into your ears and walking out of your room. You then took them off and said "What are you two talking about?"

"Oh nothing...! You have a very kind therapist Y/N!" Your mother smiled.

"You have a very kind mother." Maruki said.

"Your therapist is also quite the hottie Y/N, we should like go out some day doctor." Your mother said.

"Ah... Um..." Maruki looked down, he seemed nervous.

"Mom, don't bring up stuff like that. He doesn't want any romance." You mentioned.

"Aww darn... Was hoping to score some.." Your mother sighed.

Maruki laughed a bit nervously, you could tell he was uncomfortable with what your mom said.

"Well this was fun but I have to go, I do hope you take care of yourself Y/N. You too Mrs. L/N. If you need anything let me know and I'll be there for you Y/N." Maruki left.

You stared at your mom with a frown on your face.

"What? I was just teasing.." Your mother said.

"Mom... Doctor Maruki isn't interested in anyone you know.. He doesn't want anything to do with romance..." You said.

"My bad, I shouldn't have triggered such a sensitive topic." Your mom said.

"Exactly what I think." You went back inside your room and saw a message from Maruki himself.

"Sorry I left, maybe next time we can do a meet up together with your mother again next time." Maruki said.

"How about without her? She could be busy sometimes." You lied.

"Oh, sure...! We can go out meditating again or even eat some food out. My treat!" Maruki said.

You smiled.

"Oh, how's your phone? Did you fix it?" Maruki asked.

You still had the same cracks on your phone from yesterday.

"Nope, I'll get it fixed soon." You replied.

"Good, good! Anyways I'm going to take a nap. Goodnight and sweet dreams!" Maruki said and left off.

You placed your blanket on top of you and slept. Who knew what a day today would be.
