|Chapter 31: Do you know?|

Since you seemed to be having fun at the Hawaii Trip with the others they kept inviting you to join them in for fun. They insisted you at least get time to splash around the water and have fun but you were a bit worried, if there's one person you can invite to have fun it would be Maruki. Because he deserves to have fun with the rest of you.

You put on a swim suit that wouldn't expose too much skin and went with the others anyways. You noticed Ryuji and Yusuke checking you out.

"Ugh seriously? You're such a perv Ryuji, stop bringing Yusuke into this." Ann frowned.

"I can't help but stare...!" Ryuji's face turned red.

Akira placed his hand on Ryuji's shoulder.

"Do I have to call Y/N's boyfriend over to come beat you up?" Akira asked.

"N-No...! Wait Y/N has a boyfriend...?!" Ryuji was shocked.

Everyone looked at you.

You felt sweat pour down your forehead.

Uh oh, what do I do now...? They're going to question who he is. I feel as if I said it was Maruki things would be over already.

"So who's the lucky man?" Ryuji asked.

"Yes... Does he have any beauty standards?" Yusuke questioned.

"Dude... Why are you asking about her man rather than Y/N....? You're hella weird.." Ryuji looked at Yusuke.

"I'm just as curious as you, I must ask details to paint the couple on a canvas." Yusuke made his fingers look like he was trying to get an angle of you.

"I don't like being uncomfortably stared at." You mentioned.

"Shit...! I'm sorry!" Ryuji looked the other way.

All of them proceeded to get into the ocean and have fun but you sat down and sighed.

What if I told them about you Takuto...? There's already Akira, Futaba, and Morgana who know about us but the others don't know yet. Is this supposed to be good? Is it really okay to hide secrets like this from the others?

You got up and wandered around the beach, you looked around and noticed that girl from yesterday who came to Maruki's office and got rejected by him. Talk about luck...

You walked pass her but she was quick to stop you by putting her hand on your shoulder.

"Y/N-Chan...! You look great in that swim suit!" She cheerfully said.

"...Thanks...?" You nodded.

There was a huge silence between the two of you until she broke the silence and asked you a question.

"Doctor Maruki's girlfriend... Do you know who it is?" The girl asked.

"Me? No, I don't even care about it." You said.

"You and the doctor are close, it's almost like you two are friends. I'm asking you because you may have a clue to who the woman he's dating is." The girl looked at you.

She looked like she was getting on to you. Like if she wanted you to confess here and now that Maruki is in fact your boyfriend.

"I don't know and I don't care, I'm not the type to be interested in learning other people's love life's." You clenched your fist.

"Have you ever heard of a student teacher relationship Y/N? It's where a teacher and a student start a romantic relationship with each other. It's a forbidden love but I'm sure many girls are dying to be with Doctor Maruki that way... What about you?" The girl asked.

"I would like to have a student teacher relationship type of friendship but not some romantic relationship. Besides why would you want Maruki out of all teachers or people out there? Why not just find someone your age?" You looked down.

The girl grabbed you by the neck and yelled.

"Because there's no other guy out there as good as Maruki...! He's sweet and caring, every girl in this school is trying to take him away from me! Don't they all know he's mine?! You're one too! Back away from my man!" The girl yelled at you.

Part of you wanted to say it badly but is she trying to get you to say it? Is this her motive?

You shoved her away and said

"I'm already dating a student from Kosei." You lied.

She stared at you with a shock look. It was then you noticed that you could see a shadow version of her.

She's corrupted by these kinds of thoughts... I have to tell the others about this... Although what if I go by myself?

The girl was quick to walk away and storm off like if nothing had happened. You felt a smirk on your face.

Finally she left, I had a feeling she was about to figure me out...

You kept walking around and noticed that you had completely lost yourself in this huge beach. The sun was going down and it was about to be night time.

"Not again... I don't know my directions well here.." You sighed.

"Y/N...! What are you doing out here..!" Maruki called out to you.

He came running towards you and noticed the swim suit you were wearing.

"O-Oh... I um-" Maruki faced the other way.

"Something wrong?" You asked.

"N-Nothing... Here um put this on." Maruki put his coat around you.

Could it be that he was just nervous over this?

"Let's go back now..! Wouldn't want you to catch a cold out here. It's getting late." Maruki said.

The two of you were on the way back when the moon rose down. You stared at the moon and raised your hand up high in the air.

Maruki reached his hand towards yours.

"Your hands are so small." Maruki laughed.

"Your hands are too soft and gentle." You teased him.

"H-Hey...! I make sure to be careful with what I do..!" Maruki frowned.

After spending that time out in the dark you eventually returned back to your room. You saw that Ann and Makoto were looking at you in surprise.

"Something happened?" You asked.

"N-No...! Not at all...!" Ann smiled.

"Y-Yeah...! It's nothing!" Makoto also smiled.

You all went to sleep after that but the girls were still acting a bit strange.
