|Chapter 29: Preparation|

You made sure to pack some stuff up as a way to show that you were getting ready for tomorrow's trip. There was no school today since they were giving you time to pack up and get ready soon.

You received a message from Akira saying how he wanted to talk to you about something important. He told you to meet at Leblanc.

You headed there feeling a smile on your face, except he was the only one there with Morgana around.

"Hey Y/N, I want to confirm things with you... You know.. Be honest with me, are you dating Doctor Maruki?" Akira asked.

Your eyes widened, you couldn't believe this was happening. You put your hand on Akira's mouth so he wouldn't say a thing.

"Who told you that...?!" You yelled.

"Relax Y/N, me, Futaba, Boss, and Akira know. We're not going to tell anyone because we're proud of you Y/N. Took you that long to finally confess." Morgana sighed.

"H-How did you even know...?! It's not like you..."

"Times you were here with Akira, I'd hear your conversations. Plus it's not easy to hide romantic feelings for someone." Morgana smirked.

"I was Doctor Maruki's wingman, well he sort of asked advice sometimes." Akira laughed a little

"Futaba was my wingman." You laughed.

"Oh and Akira, don't let anyone know about this." You said.

"Promise." Akira nodded.

"You ready for tomorrow's Hawaii trip?" Akira asked.

"Sure am...! Can't wait to go! I want to run around and spend time with all of you! Takuto as well." You smiled.

"Takuto? So you both aren't calling each other dear, dearie, honey, pumpkin, booch, or sweetie?" Akira asked.

"W-What...?!" You frowned.

"You know, couples call each other nicknames. Try calling Doctor Maruki 'sweetie' or 'honey'. He could think it's cute coming from you." Akira teased.

"Should I...? I don't want to suddenly show him a different kind of affection. What if he's not used to it...?" You questioned.

"Well he should be, if I can call Makoto an actual queen she'll think it's nice that I did that." Akira smirked, you saw him beam with joy.

"Maybe I should... When I see him. I mean I think he's busy today." You sighed.

"You know for an instant I thought he wasn't going to agree on this whole thing. The doctor seems upset like if he doesn't want anyone in his life. I guess he opened more." Akira mentioned.

"Everyone says he's always hiding something... I feel like I know more about him. He even opened up to of some deep stuff he didn't want people to know about. I feel like he's told me everything." You felt confident that you knew about Maruki more.

"You may know all of his secrets but does he know about all YOUR secrets?" Akira asked.

You paused to yourself, you felt your heart rate increase.

Maruki doesn't know your a phantom Thief, what if he one day out of the blue found out you were a Phantom Thief? Would that be the end of you or would it be the end of your relationship with him? You can't let the negative thoughts get to you, you're currently happy. As long as he doesn't find out you're good.

"It's not like he'll find out, I can just keep it a secret and it'll all be alright." You smiled confidently.

"And if he finds out? What if he wanders around the Mementos or accidentally looks through your phone? What if he follows you around and ends up finding out? Will you admit the truth to him or will you stay quiet as a stray sheep(this is a reference)." Akira said.

You took the time to think to yourself for a minute.

"I think I'd rather be honest with him, it would break his heart if I had kept a secret like this from him for a long time... I'd like to tell him earlier but I don't think he'd understand if I straight up told him 'hey Takuto, guess what? I'm a phantom thief! Betcha didn't know that!'" You mimicked.

"You're a very great girlfriend to him." Akira laughed a little.

"You think so? I don't know at this point I feel like I'd do whatever it takes to make him happy... I did promise his happiness, not just his but mine too. If he's happy, I'm happy too." You nodded.

"Hey Y/N, why don't you learn how to bake some sweets? It would be a great thing to give some to your husband." Akira teased.

"H-Husband...?! This is too way out of hand...! To think of him as my husband... I-" You thought about it.

The possibility of being wed to Takuto Maruki. You believe the two of you would be somewhat happy but you can't do that now since you're still a lot younger than him and it would be trouble if you did.

"Yeah I don't think so." You smiled.

You walked back to your apartment and thought about the possibility of baking sweets... Maybe once in a while you should try to bake a pack of sweets or so and bake them for him so that he'd probably enjoy them.

"Not just that but I need to master cooking skills better than him...!" You clenched your fist.

You felt determined to make him sweets but maybe another day because... Well you were tired.

"Why is that I feel this tired...? I never usually feel this tired... Is it a today thing or...?"

You threw yourself on your couch and passed out.

"What if I told you there was another world? A world in which the two of us can stay in. No one would bother us, it'd only be us." The voice said.

"A world huh...? Is this what you want?" You asked.

You saw a faint silhouette, it was someone wearing white.

"It's a possibility... How would you feel about it?" The voice asked.

"A world in which the two of us can be together...? I'm not sure." You answered.

"I understand, you wouldn't want to abandon the rest of the people dear to you."

You woke up from your nap.

"What is this strange dream I keep having...?" You questioned yourself..
