You found yourself awakening to the smell of nice breakfast but who was cooking...?

"Mom...? You cooking??" You asked.

You opened the door to your room to see Maruki cooking. He was wearing an apron.

"Oh, you're awake now! Good morning." Maruki said cheerfully.

You couldn't help but laugh a little seeing him in an apron.

"How come you're here?" You asked.

"Your mom gave me a spare key so that I could get entry... I was just waiting for you to wake up to make you breakfast." Maruki said.

He seemed more cheerful, usually days before he would seem so down like if he didn't want to be around you. This time he seemed much better and happy around you.

Makes me wonder what had changed him...

You sat down the table and ate the breakfast he cooked you. As usual it was always so good.

"Takuto...! You never let me cook for you. One day I should cook for you." You pouted.

"Is that so? I'd love to try your food someday. Even if you're not good at cooking it'll give the love you made into it." Maruki smiled.

This man... He's so amazing...!!

You continued to eat the food he cooked for you and finished it all.

"So what's going to happen today?" You asked.

"We're going out." Maruki smiled.

"Going out...?! Hang on...! You didn't tell me...!" You ran into your room and closed the door.

"A-Ah...! I promise I'll stick by your side." Maruki said.

"I don't wanna go out..." You sighed.

"Come on, at least you're going out with me." Maruki said.

He somewhat convinced you, you began to dress into  more expensive dresses Haru bought for you. You stepped out of your room to see Maruki waiting for you outside. Once you had surprised him outside and closed your door he looked at you with a shocked look.

"Is something wrong??" You looked at Maruki with a confused look.

He took off his coat and put it on you.

Ah I get it now... He thinks the dress I'm wearing is a little bit too revealing but it only shows my shoulders and a bit of my chest and back... What's so wrong with this one...?

You decided to keep his coat on and walk around with him towards the shrine you went to last time.

"Last time I've been here I saw a cute dog around here...! Now if only I can..." Maruki looked around.

You pointed over at a dog.

"You mean this one?" You asked.

It was a shiba who seemed friendly. You pet it and the dog took a liking to you, it even began licking you on the cheek.

"Great now this dog is kissing my girlfriend." Maruki sighed.

"Ah! No! There's plenty of kisses going your way for you later!" You said to Maruki.

"Good, I expect one soon." Maruki laughed.

"I want to keep this dog... Does he have an owner??" You asked.

"I don't think he does but I wouldn't want you to take the dog whether it's someone's dog." Maruki said.

"You're just jealous because the dog kissed me." You smirked.

Maruki looked shocked and turned away.

"A-As if...!" Maruki said.

You went up to him and hugged him.

"Don't be jealous, I told you there was more kisses coming your way." You laughed.

Maruki looked at you and said "Really now? Where's my kiss right now??"

You stepped back away and said "Takuto we can't do it in public! You know how much trouble I'll be in?! Not only me but you!" You said.

Maruki looked at you with a sad face.

"You're right... At least when we go there soon we'll be able to show as much love as we want to." Maruki said.

"Huh? Go where?" You asked.

It began to rain a little, thats when Maruki hopped in in his car and had you in with him.

"This is quite a day for it to rain like this..." Maruki sighed.

"It's okay, at least we'll be taking cover." You nodded.

"Hey Y/N, do you want to...." Maruki looked down.

"Do I want to what?" You asked.

"Nevermind, I'll just drive you back home." Maruki drove all the way to Yongen dropping you off.

Before you can go you almost forgot about your kiss. You leaned in towards Maruki and gave him a nice sweet little kiss and walked back to your apartment. You were a little soaked from the rain so you took a small shower.

~~Maruki's pov~~

"Soon.... Soon I'll take her there." I said.

For the past days or so my mind has been on taking Y/N to the place badly. I don't know if she's aware yet but when I have my day to think about it I'll take her there. Yes... She won't have to be suffering anymore or bothered by me hiding anything anymore although if I take her there her mother and friends will miss her... It'll be like she's gone missing or so...

What will be the excuse I make then...? Will I tell them the truth or say she's gone missing and hide the fact. This is a hard choice for even me to decide on what should I do.

I drove back to my home and entered inside, but there was a thing I forgot.

"Ah...! My coat!" I wondered.

"No wait, it'll be fine... I know I can trust Y/N with my coat. She's bound to return it back to me. And when she returns it back to me that will be the day I take her with me. I'll give her a last day to spend with everyone before she goes." I thought to myself.

~~Y/N's pov~~

Can thou hear me? Be very cautious, one day everything will change.

"Champeron Rouge is that you...?" You asked.

He will come and take thee away, thou mustn't let him do that. That'll be the last day here.

"What are you talking about...?" You questioned

Champeron Rouge didn't say anything else after that. Leaving you in nothing but complete silence.
