|Chapter 26: After thinking about it...|

You didn't really go to school today considering how you were still upset about even going. There was no way you wanted to go anyways after all that happening. Awkwardness and embarrassment.

"What should I do today...?" You questioned as you looked through your messages. You saw that everyone seemed to have their own plans again, they were planning on going Phantom Thieving in which you hadn't agreed to yet. Maybe you'll join soon when you think about it hard enough.

You realized you still had Maruki blocked from your contacts. You unblocked him and saw old messages from that day you ran away from him. You took a quick look at all of them and read through the messages he sent

"Can we please talk?"
"I want to apologize to you, please."
"There's something I wanted to tell you."
"Please don't ignore me, this is too hard on me."
"I didn't mean to run off like that the other time."
"Maybe I shouldn't be talking to you, it's unforgivable what I did just leaving you behind like that."
"I don't want to give up on this now."
"Please give me time to explain myself."

That's all the messages he sent you until you blocked him off your contacts. You felt the urge to suddenly crawl into a ball and cry your eyes out just reading these messages.

"Is this what it feels like when you're away from the person you love so much..." You muttered.

You put some comfortable clothes on and rested on the couch. You turned on the tv to take your mind off things.

What is wrong? Shouldn't thou follow their heart?

"It's not that easy." You mumbled.

It's not easy for thou since thee keeps avoiding the one and only source of happiness to thy heart. 

"Not now, I don't need someone or something to make me happy. It's not like he'd return my feelings. He's probably still clinged on to his ex girlfriend Rumi to even focus on me." You sighed.

Why not move on then? If it's so hard for thee to even get what thou wants the only way is to move on.

"'Moving on isn't easy either, whenever I try it's like he comes back to my mind. He haunts me like some sort of enraged ghost lady from those Japanese horror films." You put your hand on your head.

But in those films you call isn't it easy to get rid of those enraged ghost woman?

"Maybe I should take a walk outside to have thoughts for myself." You muttered.

You put on some clothes that would make you not recognizable so the police wouldn't think you were ditching school. You walked around Inokashira park just viewing and admiring everything.

"This place takes me back..." You slightly smiled.

You noticed that girl from the other time that you helped out with Maruki. She had recognized you even with a different change of clothes.

"Y/N-Chan! Y/N-Chan...!" The girl ran up to you with a happy look in her face.

"Hello, good to see you once again." You smiled.

"Where's your boyfriend...?! Last time I saw him here he ran off!" The girl said.

"Boyfriend..? Hah, I don't have a boyfriend." You laughed.
