|Chapter 55: Have You Decided?|

And so came the day, the day of dawn or morning, maybe even night time. The day that would decide everything, a permanent decision. The day that you would finally decide and tell Maruki what your desire is.

I haven't really thought about it yet, I've been so distracted on other things to the point where I haven't even thought about my final choice on the desire. Do I come up with something....? What do I do...?

You thought of things that could happen.

I certainly don't want to leave him, but then again I don't want to extend my thinking time. He's a patient man but I hate to leave him like this. Maybe today I will give him my answer.

You looked into the wardrobe of the room you were staying in, nothing put pure white and golden clothes. Guess it must be the theme of this place. Even so the colors are radiant. You tried one on and proceeded to put clips on your hair.

You then wandered around as you noticed how busy the shadows looked.

"Hey...!" You called out to one of them.

One of them came towards you.

"How can I be of assistance." The shadow said.

"Where's Takuto?" You asked.

"He's a little busy at the moment, would you mind waiting?" The shadow said.

"But I wanna see him now..." You pouted.

"We ran into some intruders just now, please wait for us my lady." The shadow then ran off

"Intruders... Who can they be...?" You snuck behind the shadow as you proceeded to follow it to where it was going.

After following it you saw them chasing after none other than....

"Akira...???" Your eyes widened.

It's been such a long time, it feels like time goes by quickly when you're in here.

He was with two other people you hadn't recognized before. You wanted to go and see him once again but fear came to you. You can feel yourself shaking and unable to move, what would they think if they had found out that you had been brought here??

You noticed Akira looked over your way in surprise.

No... If I meet with him now he'll take me back to my world so that I never see Takuto again.... I can't let him interfere with this...!

"Shadows...! Seize them!" You yelled.

You felt like you were betraying them but you couldn't leave not now, not yet. You still have to be with Takuto and keep him as happy as he could ever be.

You ran off feeling shame and guilt in your chest but there was no way you could confront them now. You ran towards your room and closed the door, feeling a bit upset at what you had done.

"They'll think I'm a traitor now... " You sighed.

Maybe then if things were easier but... I cannot leave Maruki. There's no way I can bring myself to ever do it, I want to stay by his side. His happiness is so important to me, I'd do anything to see his smile. A sad look on his face wounds me a lot more than seeing myself upset.

You waited for hours to pass until you heard a knock on your door.

"Come in." You answered.

"No, I uhh wanted to ask... Can you meet me by the garden like the place you were in before? I want to see you again and talk to you there." Maruki said.

You agreed but tried on some different clothes. You headed there feeling a bit hesitant of what you were about to say. You opened the doors to reveal the beautiful garden once again.

"I hate to admit it but... It feels so relaxing being in a place like this." You said.

"Is that so..? I should invite you here more often." Maruki's voice said.

You blushed hearing that come out of him.

"Y-Yeah...!" You smiled.

Maruki came out of the shadows with a rose on his hand. He placed the rose on your hair.

"For you." Maruki smiled brightly.

His smile is so handsome... I want to see him smile like this forever...

"Thank you so much." You cherished the rose he gave you.

"So (y/n), have you decided?" Maruki asked.

You felt your heart race quickly, this was the choice. The one you'd make.

"If I tell you what you desire will you give it to me...?" You asked.

"Of course, I told you I'm a miracle worker. I'll grant whatever you want. In all is to keep you happy." Maruki smiled.

"Then my desire is...." You paused.

You thought of all your friends and family.

I really want to be with my friends but... It's a life choice between them and Maruki. If I choose them over Maruki he'd most likely send me back.

"My desire is to be with you Maruki, I don't ever want to leave your side. I want to face your problems together. Wherever you go is where I go. What ever problem you face is mine too. All for you." You said.

Maruki looked shocked at what you had said.

"Are you sure about this (y/n)? If you stay here with me I feel as if you might get bored and get into trouble. I don't want you getting hurt." Maruki said.

"I'll be okay as long as you're there for me. You can heal me right? Then that means I can be there with you as long as you're there to support me." You smiled.

Maruki pulled you close to him, giving you a big hug.

"....You don't know how happy that makes me to hear you say that... I... I love you (y/n)..." Maruki said.

Your face turned red from hearing him say that.

"I really mean it." You nodded.

The truth is... As much as I want to see everyone so badly... I'll have to find a way to get Maruki to believe I'm staying here with him. But in reality I plan my escape soon.

Note: I don't upload Saturday's and Sunday's, those are my off days.
