|Chapter 35: Return and Okumura|

After that Hawaii trip, you returned back to Japan. It was a tiring one and long one.

"Man... If only we had stayed longer in Hawaii... I could've spent all my romantic moments there with Takuto..." You sighed, complaining to Akira.

"You can always go during the summer." Akira said.

"I'll have to wait a whole year again until summer...!" You pouted.

"That's why, unless you can wait for winter as well." Akira said.

"Oh! Speaking of which Akira... What about our next victim? Do you have any in mind?" You wondered.

"Well, I did have one in mind. Okumura." Akira nodded.

"Okumura.... isn't that... Haru Okumura's dad...?" You thought.

"Yeah, while you were too busy giving your boyfriend kisses and frolicking with him we found ourselves another culprit." Akira said.

"Frolicking...?! Excuse me!" You frowned.

Akira laughed a little.

You left Leblanc to see Maruki calling you, you quickly answered the phone call.

"Takuto! Nice to hear from you!" You cheerfully said.

"Woah, it's like you suddenly wanted to hear me again. That makes me happy to know you were thinking of me." Maruki said.

"Of course, you're my boyfriend! How would I not be happy to hear from you." You said.

"...Boyfriend... That makes me... **sniff** happy to hear." Maruki seemed joyful.

"Takuto? You're not crying are you?" You curiously asked.

"N-No...! Not at all...!" Maruki cleared his throat.

You had a moment to laugh to yourself for a little bit.

"How are you Takuto? You better not be stressing yourself out or I will force myself to come to your place." You annoyingly said.

"Not at all...! I know that if I stress myself out, my girlfriend named Y/N would come back to haunt me." Maruki teased.

"Good, you better not." You said.

For some odd reason Maruki hung up. You assumed he got caught up with something at the moment so you understood.

You saw a message from Akira that said "We're going to have a meeting and go to Okumura's palace, you should come."

You agreed to going and so you did, you ended up going to Leblanc where they held the meeting of discussion but Morgana wasn't around.

"Say, what happened to Morgana?" You asked.

Everyone looked over at Ryuji who seemed mad.

"What? It's not my fault that the coward gets easily triggered." Ryuji shrugged.

"MAYBE if you hadn't been such a jerk he wouldn't have ran away." Ann frowned.

You all decided to go into Okumura's palace, this is the first time you've been inside another palace other than that strange one you were in.

I wonder... Who's palace was that... The unknown palace... I should try to research later.

The more deeper you got into the palace the more tired you felt but you still continued on. You found yourself getting drowsy so suddenly.

"You want to lean on my shoulder?" Akira asked.

"I'll be fine, after al we're all in this together." You nodded.

You all finally arrived towards the treasure and now what you needed was the calling card. You were the one to write the card and make the design, it was hard but yet fun to do. Once you all wrote the calling card you returned to the real world.

You went back to your home to see Maruki and your mother talking.

S-Shit...! Takuto don't say anything to my mom about us...!

Your mom seemed to be laughing.

"Y/N, your psychologist is so funny. He was telling me how you tend to fall asleep in the student council room when you're overwhelmed with so much work." Your mother laughed.

You looked down in embarrassment.

"Oh, that's right I forgot! I have work to attend...! Well see you soon Doctor Maruki and Y/N!" Your mother left the place quickly.

"What are you doing here Takuto?" You questioned as you went to the kitchen.

"I came here to stop by, you know." Maruki smiled.

You prepared some tea in the kitchen.

"Hey Y/N, quick question." Maruki questioned you.

"Sure, go ahead." You continued to prepare some of the tea.

You even began to taste test the tea to make sure it tasted rich.

"Sometimes I believe you're hiding something from me, one day I feel as if I can trust you... Another day I feel like you're hiding something big from me. I'm just going to let you know that you can tell me anything. I'm always here to help you and support your decisions." Maruki warmly smiled.

It was that damned smile, that smile that made me want to just give in and tell everything.

You faced Maruki and looked upset.

Should I tell him...?

"Takuto... The truth is... I've been jealous, really jealous that you see female clients and it feels like a girl is taking you away from me." You lied just so you wouldn't admit the other thing.

Maruki stared at you surprised and began to chuckle at what you had said.

"Is that what you were keeping from me?" Maruki asked.

You nodded in agreement.

Maruki stood up and walked besides you, he put his warm hand on to your head and said.

"You don't need to worry, you know that the only person I'll ever look at is you."

You placed your hands on his face and removed his glasses, he almost looked like a whole different person. If he would just slip his hair back... no.

"Oh, um I should be leaving soon. I'm going to be a lot busier." Maruki put his glasses back on.

"So that means you won't be able to see me?" You pouted.

"I can still give you a call or so." Maruki nodded.

"Takuto, there's a difference between seeing in person and calling. In person is much better than just a call." You admitted.

Maruki looked at you and agreed to what you said.

"You're right... Maybe I'll try to set up a meeting day with you." Maruki put his hand on his chin.

Maruki walked out the door and waved goodbye to you with a smile since the two of you still can't show your love in public otherwise it'll be game over for the two of you. You felt a little bit upset wanting to stay by his side a little longer.
