|Chapter 28: Getting back at him|

Today's the day I'm going to get back at him for being so smooth yesterday with me.

You walked around school ground with that student council arm band. You were about to enter Maruki's office when you felt a hand behind you.

You turned around and noticed a student council member.

"Hey Y/N, before you talk to the doctor can you do all this paper work?" He handed you over some paper work.

"Seriously...?" You asked.

"Thanks Y/N, I know you can do them...!" The student council member left you behind with many paper work to be done.

"Ughhh... This is going to be too much for me..." You walked all the way to the student council office and worked on paper work. This was stressful for you.

Eventually after doing all this paper work you fell asleep on the desk. You placed your head on the table and slept.

I don't remember being that tired....

~~Dream pov~~

You saw yourself sitting down on a chair, there was a table in front of you with tea prepared. You looked around and noticed that there was a beautiful garden around you.

"What is this...? Some sort of Alice and Wonderland cliché??" You asked.

You stood up from your chair and looked around. You noticed a woman with dark red short hair. She sat down the chair you were sitting on.

"Huh...? Excuse me..." You looked around.

You saw Maruki walking your way, he had a smile on his face.

"Takuto...! Am I happy to see y-" Maruki had ignored you and passed you.

He sat down to talk with the woman. Once he did he pulled out a ring and proposed to her.

"Takuto...! Wrong woman...!" You yelled.

"Why? I had always loved Rumi. Not you, you were never that special to me." Maruki said.

Your eyes widened.

What the hell...? This has to be a joke...!

"Y/N, wake up." You heard a voice.

~~Awake pov~~

You awoke from your long nap to see you were in the student council room. You had a long white coat wrapped around you, you figured this was Maruki's coat.

"Huh...? How long was I asleep for...?" You checked your phone and noticed you had skipped class the entire day.

"Oh my god...!" You freaked out.

"So, you're awake huh?" Maruki's voice said.

You looked over his way to see him reading a book. He put his book down and smiled.

"Rise and shine Y/N, feeling any better?" Maruki asked.

"Takuto..." You looked down.

"What's wrong? Did something happen? Want to talk about it??" Maruki looked worried about you.

"....Don't you think I'm too bad for you? I feel like I'm not good enough to be with someone like you..." You mentioned.

"Huh...? Why do you think that??" Maruki asked.

"I just don't think I'm good for you, you're too kind, and handsome.. Meanwhile here I have many flaws.." You pouted.

"If you have flaws, I have flaws too. We can share our flaws together." Maruki ran his fingers through your hair.

Takuto.. He's so sincere... He's not the type to judge someone. He's willing to accept you for who you are... I'm so glad I met someone like him,

You leaned in for a kiss and finally got back at him for it. He wasn't expecting that out of you but you managed to surprise him.

"O-Oh...! Oh dear, you surprised me...!" Maruki's face turned red.

"I gotcha back!" You smirked.

"Then that means I'll have to get back at you again." Maruki waved his finger.

"No, I'm not going to do this again.." You sighed.

"Okay fine, who put you responsible for these papers anyways? They were being too harsh on you for doing so." Maruki looked upset.

"Yeah... Too much work." You nodded.

"I really don't like when they stress you out with this much work. If you want to quit student council don't be afraid to do so." Maruki suggested.

"No no! I'm good, with student council I'll be able to open up more than I ever have. I can prove people wrong that I am not useless and that I can do things too!" You smiled.

Maruki embraced you in his arms.

"That's the kind of positivity I like to hear." Maruki said.

You hugged him back.

Maruki opened the door to the student council office, he then walked you outside of Shujin.

"Take care Y/N, be safe on the way home." Maruki smiled.

"I will Takuto, bye! Love you!" You ran off.

~~Maruki's pov~~

My heart raced as she said "Love you" to me. How long has it been since I've ever felt so happy like this? Hearing someone else tell me how much they love me. It makes me feel special just having someone love me.

I took off my glasses and cleaned them although... Nothing is going to get rid of that. I can't mention it to Y/N yet but... When the time comes, I have to take her there. To paradise.

I grabbed my stuff and headed home, I was on a rush.

"I love her too..." I laughed to myself.

~~Y/N's pov~~

A few more until the Hawaii trip was about to come, you could feel the happiness in you spark. A field trip that fun would be satisfying, imagine going around and seeing the beautiful sea like that but... Then again you're not a fan of the sun.

As long as Takuto would be by your side, you would be satisfied going.

Hehe... I finally got back at him for surprising me that other time. I surprised him...!

You received a text message from Maruki himself.

"Hope you have a good night Y/N, I just thought of you so I thought I'd let you know." He sent.

"You too Takuto." You sent back.

You put your phone under your pillow and shut your eyes. A few more until the trip huh...? You wonder what was going to happen now.
