You couldn't really sleep comfortably due to the fact of what Akechi had told you yesterday about admitting but then suppressing your memories.
"Is it really true...? Will I forget??" I don't want to forget anything... I want to know the truth..." You sighed.
You opened the door to your room and saw your mother getting ready for work.
"Mom, what if someone important to me is hiding something?" You asked her.
"Hiding something from you? Now that isn't the type of person you'd want to be with. I suggest you have a talk with them. If they don't want to admit anything press them with more questions and if they still don't then move on. Simple as that." Your mom said.
"Move on...? I don't want to move on..." You looked at your mom with distress.
"Well you wouldn't want to stay with someone who won't tell you the truth, it's better to leave them otherwise they would keep using the same tactics to hide things from you. The more they do that the more they won't trust you and will be able to get away with more things. They could take advantage of you." Your mother said.
"Wow... You seem to know a lot about this." You were surprised at what your mother was saying.
"Well, your father was a man of many tales. He thought he could hide things very well from me but I was able to see it through. He later admitted everything because I was getting to the bottom of things. It works pretty well!" Your mom smirked.
"Is that so?" You asked.
"Wait a second? You have a boyfriend? How come my baby girl hasn't told me anything yet??? How could you not tell your mother?!" Your mom looked upset.
"Yeah sorry, but I'm just curious overall." You said.
"Well I suggest you have a one on one conversation if you ever meet with them. Tell them how you know they're keeping a secret and if they won't admit it to you, press them. Continue to press them until they will admit it." Your mother nodded.
You listened to her very well that you can feel such a close bond with your mother. You went into your room and tried on one of Haru's expensive dresses she bought for you.
"I look like a snotty rich person..." You sighed.
You walked out with the dress you were flashing out and saw your mother look shock at the dress you were wearing. You quickly walked out before she can comment on the dress.
You headed for Shibuya where Maruki had told you to meet up with him. Once you arrived there you saw him standing there with a suit and all. He seemed to be spacing out.
"Takuto...!" You ran up to him with a smile on your face.
"It's great to see you again Y/N." Maruki smiled.
The two of you went off to Inokashira park and bought something to eat from there on. It was a nice place to relax around.
It was then that question popped up in your head, the one about pressing him on with questions and ask if he's hiding another thing from you. You waited until the two of you ate until you brought up the question.
"Hey Takuto, can I ask you something?" You looked over at his way.
"Sure, go ahead." Maruki smiled.
He always seems so cheerful, why is it that?
"You aren't hiding something from me are you?" You asked.
"Like what?" Maruki looked confused.
"Strange powers and well suppressing memories... Do those ring a bell or...?" You looked over at Maruki who looked very shock to hear you say that.
"N-No, idea what you're talking about." Maruki stuttered.
Aha...! So I did get something out of him..! There's something he isn't telling me!
"I demand to know what you're hiding! Whether it's these strange powers or even something about suppressing memories or something I want to-" You felt a scary presence so suddenly.
You felt Maruki place his hands on your face with a smile.
"You know how much I love you Y/N. You're so sweet and kind, you mean everything to me." Maruki said.
You reached out for him but felt a little sleepy, something was wrong here.
You tried to say his name but felt more drowsy.
"Ta... Ta.. kuto..." You have in and closed your eyes.
~~Maruki's pov~~
I held Y/N close to me and wrapped my jacket around her. I scooped her hair and sighed.
I then picked her up and proceeded to head to her place.
"I'm sorry Y/N... I really am. I would apologize to you countless of times but it's not like you'd know what it'd be about. I'm suppressing your memories so that you wouldn't have to question me about it anymore. I really hate using my powers for something I didn't want to do but... I guess this how the way things go or should go." I said.
I grabbed the key from her purse and opened the door. I then took her to her room and laid her down gently.
"I don't think I'm ready to tell you yet, not now. I wonder who told you about this stuff. I would really hate if more of this began to spread out. I hope you take care Y/N, sweet dreams." I walked away leaving her alone.
Do I feel bad for what I've done? Yes I do. I have many guilt inside of me that made me wish I haven't done that. But... It was for the best. If I had left her with her memories she probably would have been constantly asking me about this whole thing. I wouldn't want to feel pressured or untrusted by her anymore. If she happens to remember this again I'll have no choice but to suppress her memories again once more. Not until I feel like I'm able to take her with me.
