Today was the day Akira was leaving and returning back. Time has passed by really quickly, you're now a junior at Shujin, Makoto and Haru has graduated and you had accompanied everyone else. As your celebration of passing your sophomore year Maruki was going to take you out on a date.

You dressed into summer clothes and walked out of your apartment door seeing Maruki standing outside with a smile on his face. He looked at you with such a surprised look.

"You look beautiful, are you ready to go?" Maruki asked.

You nodded and took his hand as he opened the door for you and led you in into his car. He hopped in his car and drove off to where Akira was.

Akira hopped into the car with a smile on his face as Maruki began driving.

"Can't believe you're leaving Akira, make sure to give us a call and check in on us." Maruki smiled as he arrived to the destination.

"I will, just promise me you both invite me to the future wedding soon." Akira winked.

Your face turned red from that.

"N-No...! Don't be absurd...!" You stuttered.

"Even if we did get married I'll make sure to send you an invitation, okay?" Maruki laughed, teasing you.

Once Akira ended up leaving you sighed.

"I'm going to miss him." You said.

"It's okay (y/n), I'm sure he'll be okay." Maruki grabbed your hand softly.

Knowing that made you feel a lot better, Maruki drove off to Inokashira park. The two of you sat down by a gazebo. Maruki grabbed a bag and pulled out two bentos.

"I made lunch for the both of us, hope you'll enjoy it with me." Maruki said.

"You know I'd enjoy anything you make for me." You laughed.

Maruki grabbed you and hugged you.

"You're so cute." Maruki said softly.

You felt your face turn red.

"Quit teasing me." You frowned.

Maruki laughed as the two of you prayed and began to eat your meal. As usual you enjoyed anything he cooked except this meal was just out of this world.

"Takuto this is amazing...! Your meals are always the best!" You cheered on about.

"Thank you, it was made by love with yours truly. You're the one who made me try hard to master this meal." Maruki said.

You hugged him and inner fan girled.

God I love my boyfriend so much...!!!

You ate and enjoyed the meal Maruki had cooked for you.

"(y/n), hang on you still have crumbs around your mouth." Maruki placed his finger on the left side of your cheek and wiped it off.

You felt yourself beam, wanting a kiss from your boyfriend.

Why do I want to kiss him so badly...?! Is this a bad thing or...

Maruki stood up, he reached his hand towards you and said "Take my hand."

You took his hand and held on to it as he lead you to a romantic boat ride on a boat shaped as a duck. The two of you sat down enjoying yourself, Maruki pulled out his phone.

"Hey (y/n), look at me." Maruki asked.

"Huh?" You faced over his way as you heard a click sound.

"Hang on... Did you just take a picture of me...?!" You frowned.

Maruki did stuff on his phone and showed you his lock screen.

"And you're now my wallpaper too." Maruki laughed.

"Why you...!" You tried to tackle him but he grabbed you and pulled you in for a comforting hug.

"Stay like this, close to me." Maruki muttered.

You agreed and felt your face heat up just being close to him like this.

"Hey (y/n), see that?" Maruki pointed over at a direction.

"See what?" You questioned and look the other way.

Maruki planted a gentle kiss on to your cheek.

You felt yourself jump a little from an unexpected kiss.

"Damn it...! Why do always play these games with me!" You frowned.

"Because you're adorable." Maruki laughed.

Once the boat ride finished the two of you you went over to his place to relax. Maruki threw himself on to the couch, looking a bit tired.

"Let me prepare some tea for us Takuto!" You said.

"Sure, just remember not to make poison." Maruki teased you.

You frowned and went into the kitchen, you followed his recipe correctly now the only thing left was the taste test.

"Hey Takuto, I just finished making the-" You looked over to see him fast asleep.

He looked vulnerable and... Cute. He was just sleeping there with his glasses off.

Now's my chance...!

You kneeled besides him and planted a kiss on his lips. You then pulled away.

Maybe I should leave... He's sleeping after all, I should call it a day.

"Hey Takuto, I'm leaving. Okay?" You said.

Just when you were about to leave you felt his hand grab yours and pull you towards him. You layed on the couch besides him and felt his arms wrap around you.

"Don't leave." Maruki said.

"Ughh... Fine." You sighed.

You stayed close to him snuggled up and comfortable.

"(y/n), I truly want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such an amazing person to me. You changed my entire life and because you everything went well. I love you and thank you for such a life you've changed for me. This has truly been the change I wanted." Maruki said.

You felt yourself tearing up.

"T-Thank you so much Takuto... You changed my entire life too. If it weren't for you I wouldn't be the person I am now too." You agreed.

~~Maruki's  pov~~

If there's a place I'd rather be I would be with (y/n). She means the world to me so I want to stay by her side forever. I want to protect that smile of hers, and her. I want to be her source of happiness which is why... Please let her be mine, until the day we part. Thank you for giving me such an amazing change.

The two of you ended up falling asleep on the couch, comfortable and safe in each other's arms.

OmG I can't believe the story has ended, as much as I'd like to continue writing on this story forever it's now to say that this story has now been complete. I will miss writing a lot from this story. It's been a wild ride through many chapters.
