|Chapter 59: Doing Whats Right|

"It seems she's awake now, Akira." You heard that voice from before.

You opened your eyes slightly, rubbing them and felt your eyes being wet.

Am I... Crying...? Why...?

"(y/n)...! It's been a long time!" You heard Akira's voice say.

You looked around and noticed Akechi and Akira sitting besides the bed you were resting on. You were now in Leblanc.

You felt yourself about to burst into tears, you were happy being back at the place you belonged to.

"I'm so...." You paused for a bit.

Has everything returned back to normal...?

"Takuto...!" You yelled.

You were about to stand up when Akira and Akechi insisted you lay back down.

"Heavens, thinking about that man already? If I were you I'd stop thinking of the man who forced you to live with him." Akechi frowned.

"....He didn't force me to live with him, I let myself live with him." You muttered.

"But (y/n)....! Why would you do that...?!" You heard Ann's voice say.

You saw the others come inside your room, they all seemed worried about you.

"The doctor is bad news! We should kick his butt for stealing you away! We have claimed our princess back!" Futaba said.

"No Futaba, (y/n) seems to care a lot about the doctor... We can't hurt him if she truly loves him." Haru looked at Futaba.

"Man eff that guy, he literally kidnapped you and suppressed some of your memories! You sayin that you'd forgive some bozo like him?" Ryuji asked.

"Akechi had informed us that Maruki has that kinds of power." Yusuke answered.

"(y/n)...! I'm so glad you're okay and that he didn't do anything weird to you." Ann sighed.

"I agree with Futaba, if we don't act twice we could literally lose to the doctor!" Makoto nodded.

"Where were you anyways?" Morgana asked.

"I was in this room but trust me it really wasn't that bad... He offered me food, we had a lot of fun together. But there's no way I could call a place with a never ending cycle like that home. I belong here." You said.

"Well at least you're not brainwashed by that doctor to stay in that palace." Akechi nodded.

Everyone looked at him.

"Akechi stop." Ann said.

"It's okay guys, I'm not really hurt by this. What I do want to know is how I can help Maruki. For the past days I've noticed that he has such a sad look on his face. I don't want to keep him waiting and so I want to help him... If none of you agree with me I will do this on my own." You frowned.

Everyone looked at you and gathered into a group, they whispered to Joker which he had been plotting something.

"Very well (y/n), we shall help you with this plan of yours of helping the doctor." Akira smiled.

You felt relieved that they were going to help you.

"Wait, what ever happened to Kasumi?" You asked.

"You mean Sumire? She's down stairs. She had woken up earlier than you." Akechi answered.

"Sumire??" You asked.

"It's a long story but let's just say Kasumi is a different person." Akira nodded.

"Well do you have any more questions?" Akira looked over at you.

"Can I... See my mother?" You asked.

"We should call her to come over, we're going to Shibuya. I'm sorry you can't come you were terribly injured. We'll wait until you heal and we'll start phantom thieving." Akira answered.

They all walked away from your room as you felt this lonely feeling. You wanted to be hugged or comforted.

You got up from the bed but felt a bit of pain on your legs. You walked down stairs to see Sojiro sitting down and taking a break. You walked past him as he said

"Going so soon? You were supposed to rest, are you hungry?" Sojiro asked.

"No thanks boss." You answered.

"I wouldn't go out if I were you, it's cold out there. Going without a jacket would probably get you sick." Sojiro said.

You sat back down near the counter, putting your hands on it.

You saw Sojiro grab a cup and a plate as he served curry and tea. He then placed it over at your side.

"Eat up, you look like you haven't ate in days." Sojiro said.

You reached in for Sojiro's home made curry, trying it felt so calm and relaxing. Like that first time he lectured you about your feelings towards someone not between your limit.

"So I heard you were struggling with your relationship of you and the doctor..." Sojiro said.

You looked down but agreed to it.

"Yeah... It's been a difficult one. I don't know what to do anymore. He keeps wanting this desire that he knows won't last long but I just want him to see it for himself. I want to go back to the way things were.." You sighed.

"When you see him once and for all you should tell him that. Let him know about your feelings and how you wish he'd stop." Sojiro answered.

You felt somewhat better, feeling a little bit of bravery within you.

"Come on, don't be shy. Come here Sumire." Sojiro laughed.

You saw 'Kasumi' or Sumire stand there, she seemed pretty shy but looked so cute.

"Hey (y/n)... I saw you were awake and well.. I wanted to see how you were doing." Kasumi asked.

"I'm doing okay, thanks for asking Ka- Sumire." You smiled.

You stood up and walked over towards Sumire.

"Have I ever told you that your hair is just so beautiful...! I really love it!" You smiled.

Sumire's face turned red.

"T-Thank you..." She smiled slightly.

You grabbed Sumire's hand and said

"Once this whole palace this is over we can finally live our normal lives again. I can't wait to see the Sumire you had inside of you. I'd like to see you open up more of her." You laughed.

"Y-Yes...! I look forward to it too!" Sumire nodded.

After that, you went back to sleep. You were still exhausted after all that.
