|Chapter 30: Hawaii Trip|

"Go Hawaii...!!!!" You shouted.

You all arrived to Hawaii, although you haven't seen Maruki yet, you were with the others on this trip. You felt the fresh smell of ocean breeze just by being here.

"Hey Y/N, let's share a room!" Ann and Makoto both insisted.

"Sure! I'd love to." You smiled.

The boys went on to their own room while you headed with the girls to the room you were staying with them. It was a nice organized room with a patio you can relax in. You'll probably want to bring someone here to hang out later....

"I'm heading for the beach...! I got to get a sun tan!" Ann smiled.

"Oh! Me too!" Makoto agreed.

Makoto looked over at you with a smile.

"Y/N? Are you coming too?" Makoto asked.

"No thanks, maybe I'll join in later." You nodded.

"Do let me know, text me. I'll tell you where we are." Makoto said.

Ann and Makoto left you alone in the room. You looked for any new messages from Maruki but there seemed to be no messages. Either there was no signal or maybe he was busy. Maybe he didn't come at all.

You exited out of your room and sighed.

"I guess it's just me then..." You wandered outside and took a walk around.

"Y/N...! Over here...!" You heard a familiar voice yell.

You looked over the direction the voice was coming from and saw him.

Maruki was wearing comfortable summer clothes.

"Sorry I couldn't text you but... Here I am! I said I would come for you so." Maruki smiled.

"Thank you Takuto..." You felt a warm smile on your face.

"Remember that we can't really show off this thing between us." Maruki said.

Damn it...! I almost forgot...! We can't show our affection in public otherwise it'll be game over for the both of us. I wouldn't want Takuto to get fired neither would I want to be forced to end my relationship with him here.

"Takuto look!" You pointed over at a stand.

"It's a good stand...! What are they serving there??" You asked.

"Probably some sea food, would you like some? I'll buy you some sea food if you'd like." Maruki smiled.

The two of you agreed to go together, you had the urge to hold his hand badly but you couldn't.

"Two shrimp plates please." Maruki asked.

He payed for the two shrimp plates. You've never really tried shrimp before but it was worth a shot despite not being your type. You tried the shrimp, it was okay. Wasn't good nor bad but it was okay.

"Are you going to swim out in the ocean?" Maruki asked.

"No... I'll maybe try next time. I'm afraid I might melt and turn into solid liquid." You teased.

"O-Oh my...! I hope you don't turn into solid liquid...!" Maruki's eyes widened in surprise.

You laughed.

"Oh I forgot, just because I came to Hawaii with you it doesn't mean I have stopped from my job. Well maybe I have just to take a small break off work but... I still need to do my job to check on students and all. I got my own office, come with me." Maruki said.

You followed him into the third floor where you saw a big room. It was organized very well and even had his room near it. Just how big was this place?

"Welcome to my office Y/N, I hope you'll visit sometimes when poor old me is doing work. I'd like your energy..." Maruki sighed.

You sat down on a chair besides the desk Maruki was sitting near.

"Doctor I need help...! You've got to help me with something...!" You shouted.

"Ah...! So sudden...?! What do you need help with Y/N??? Are you feeling okay...?!" Maruki seemed worried.

"You see the problem is my heart..." You placed your hand on your chest.

"Is your heart feeling okay? Do you need to see a doctor?" Maruki asked.

"No, Doctor... the problem is... You stole my heart.." You nodded.

You saw Maruki's face turn pink.

"H-How funny... I actually thought this was some sort of emergency but to think you'd be playing with me like that..." Maruki looked at you.

He placed his hand gently on your chin, making you face him.

"The only cure to that would be my love to you." Maruki smiled.

"My heart is getting better already." You laughed.

The two of you laughed as you sat down by him. It wasn't until you both heard the door open that you sat across from him so no one would suspect a thing. You felt sweat pour down your forehead as you sipped some tea.

"Oh, Maruki Sensei I thought you were alone." A girl from another class said.

"Right...! Why don't you leave for a second Y/N. I'll get back to you after I finish talking with this patient of mine." Maruki smiled.

You walked out the door and noticed that the girl was eyeing you as if she hated you or just didn't like you being around Maruki. Instead of leaving, you made it look like you were leaving and leaned close to the door to hear what they were saying.

"I was so glad you came to the Hawaii trip Doctor...! I had a feeling that I wasn't going to see you..." The girl said.

"Oh, that's nice to worry about someone like me." Maruki said.

"Doctor in reality... There's something I did... Well as a thank you I made this bento for you... I hope you like it. I figured that you don't have a wife so..." The girl said.

Wife.... She said wife... And made a bento for him... Why do I feel angry...

The room was silent, no one said a single thing.

"Doctor Maruki... Please don't leave me in the dark.. Say something...!" The girl shouted.

You felt the urge to bust down the door and tell the girl to back off your man but....

"Thanks but no thanks, I only eat meals that my girlfriend cooks. Her dinner is delicious and the way she puts love into it makes me happy. Don't get me wrong you seem like a great chef, and probably have talent but... I only eat dinner with my girlfriend who I may consider my wife someday." Maruki said.

Your eyes widened, you felt your face turn red. You quickly walked away, trying to keep your footsteps silent. You saw the girl run out of the office with tears in her eyes.

Yes...! I knew I could trust my man...!

You felt happy that Maruki had stuck with you but... He called you wife. Is there something to this he's not talking about?
