[Jonah's POV]

I'll admit it. I have had feelings for Faith since I first laid eyes on her. She's absolutely beautiful and her shyness is so cute. She's so kind and genuine.

Zach knew. He figured it out. Surprising for someone as dumb as him, but he did it. He saw me staring at her during lunch one day, I guess I made it obvious.

Today, I was going to tell her how I felt. Corbyn had told Isabella. If he could do it, then so could I.

I dressed nicer today, jeans like normal, and then a shirt and a flannel, other than just a shirt.

We were all sitting at our normal spots at the lunch table, but Faith wasn't here. She was never late.

Then, I spotted her walk into the cafeteria. I followed her hand, and it was holding another. Bryan Jenkins. What was with them. I felt my face set into a frown as I watched them come to the table.

"Hey. This is my boyfriend, Bryan." Fay quietly said, as they sat down, on the same chair. It was the last one left. My skin heated up from anger and jealousy. I glared at Bryan, and I felt tension throughout the group.

I took my gaze off of Bryan, if I stared any longer, I'm sure he would have arrows piecing his brain. I glanced around at everyone. Emma was not happy. She was glaring at Bryan with more force than even I had done. I knew that she had broken up with him last year, though I'm not sure why. Isa and Lottie were frowning, and the others felt uncomfortable too.

"Emma how have you been?" Bryan started up the conversation.

"Great! Thanks for asking!" She put on an obvious fake smile. Wow, she must really hate him. Bryan just nodded along and started his meal.

There was little to no conversation at the table, he was making everyone uncomfortable. He would whisper little things in to Faith's ear, and she would giggle.

After a minute he got up. I heard him quietly say something to her and she nodded. He called her 'Faithy'. What kind of nickname is that? My eyes followed him to the napkin dispensers and he grabbed a few.

Sitting back down, he saw a crumb on the corner of Faith's lips. I hadn't noticed it before.

"Faithy, let me help you." He turned her head and used one of the napkins to wipe the crumb off. I had had enough. I got up from the lunch table and stormed into the hall way. I was jealous and pissed.

I went out the back door of Pearson High School to cool my temper off. I was furious. If Zach figured out I liked Faith, then it should be obvious to Bryan too. I shook my head to get rid of the anger and then returned into the school after hearing the bell echo.

The anger from lunch was still inside of me, and I needed to let it out. I drove home, fast, after school, and I saw Zach right behind me. In my rear view mirror, he was talking on the phone.

I made it to my house and slammed on the brakes. Zach parked in the street, and soon I saw the other boys's cars too. I sat in the drivers seat and cooled my breathing.

"So Jonah likes Faith." I heard Zach's muffled voice. "And now she's dating Bryan. And he's a player. And so he's mad and jealous and all that stuff." Zach explained. The other boys responded and Daniel opened the car door.

"Get out. We should talk."

"No." I remained in my seat. He unbuckled my seatbelt, and yanked me out of the car. I was acting like a child, but I was jealous. Very jealous.

Daniel and Corbyn dragged me inside and to my room with the others following. I finally got free of their grip once we got up the stairs, and I slumped down on my queen-sized bed.

"You can't change that they're dating Jonah." Jack started.

"I know. But I wish I could."

"But you can't!" Zach laughed, but quieted down after Corbyn slapped him. "What? Anyways, they'll probably break up."

"Yeah exactly. I don't want her to be heartbroken. And what if they don't break up." I sighed.

"Ok Bryan's a cheater and a lier. They'll break up. Most likely." Daniel added quickly. "And when they do, if they do, you can be her shoulder to cry on and you can tell her how you feel."

"And live happily ever after!" Jack finished and clapped once.

I pondered their advice, and decided they were right. I nodded. "But if he does anything to hurt her, and I mean anything, he'll be dead in a second."

"And we'll help you kill him." Corbyn said and the others agreed with nods of their heads.

It was late, but I decided to text Faith. I couldn't sleep not knowing if he had hurt her or not. I know it's only like their first day dating, but he still could've hurt her.

How are you?

Faith
Oh hi Jonah
I'm great
How are you?

Me
Well if you're great then I'm great too

Maybe that was the wrong thing to say, but I was happy that she was happy. She took a few minutes to respond.

Faith
Oh that's good

I didn't really know what to text next, so I agreed. We had a long conversation about random things, when finally, at midnight, she went to bed.

I was falling for Faith, and I was falling hard. But she was taken. I couldn't do anything about it. I knew that eventually Bryan would mess up and cheat, because that's just who he is.
