[Daniel's POV]

"Dude, what's up with you and Elle?" Jonah whispered to Jack at lunch. I was close enough to hear it.

"Um we broke up." Jack whispered back. His eyes didn't make contact with Jonah and just stared at his lunch.

"Oh." Jonah said, taken aback. "What'd you do?"

"I kinda may have forgotten about our seven month anniversary, and spent most of the day playing fortnite with Zach." He grimaced.

"Idiot." I mumbled under my breath, but it wasn't loud enough for anyone to hear. Jonah slapped Jack's head, I guess he was trying to knock some sense into the boy.

"Daniel! Did you get all the boxes?" My dad called through the front door up to my room.

"Yeah Dad!" I shouted back and pulled my black hoodie off the floor. I put it over my white t-shirt and grabbed my phone and it's charger from the wall.

The boys and I were moving to LA. We just graduated from high school. In March, we had gotten an offer from a record label there after a YouTube video of us singing went viral. We of course accepted, and now we're moving.

I'm not even one bit nervous, well except for that possibility that I might see Emma again, but other than that, I was extremely excited.

"Are you ready?" My mom asked as I hopped into the backseat. I nodded, and she started driving, with the small moving truck following us. It was a fourteen hour drive, and we were leaving at six in the morning, so hopefully we would arrive there at around 10 o'clock or earlier if we didn't make too many stops.

My siblings were still home, and my parents would return to them after I was settled in the the boys.
________

We arrived in LA, and to our new house, at ten, like I had expected. My parents and I were exhausted from a long day in the car, and we didn't even feel like unloading anything.

"Dani!" Zach screamed and ran out of our house. He and his family had started the trip to LA yesterday, stopped at a hotel for the night, and then finished it today. He was the first to move in, since Ryan and Reese had to come along.

"How is it inside?" I asked him, carrying my duffel bag.

"Amazing! There's a pool out back, and I choose my room. You can choose yours. Jack's probably going to be here last so he will most likely get the worst room.

"Ok Zach, now let me choose a room and sleep." I groaned, still tired.

"Fine Mr. Grumpybutt." He huffed.

"Lottie's wearing off on you!" I shouted to him as he had already gone to his room. I headed up the stairs, and turned to look in each door.

First was a bathroom. It had a double vanity, a huge shower, and a toilet. Also a lot of cupboard space which was good. Zach needed a lot of places to put his hair gel.

Next was a room, that Zach had claimed. His stuff was still in boxes, except there was a mattress out on the queen sized bed frame. I walked past it, seeing as it was already taken.

Next were four other rooms, and I chose the one at the end of the hall. It had a view of the pool, and was a decent size.

I pulled a blanket out of the duffel bag, and collapsed on the floor. I used my bag as a pillow and coved myself with the blanket. My parents were staying in a hotel for the night, just like Zach's family. In a few moments, I had passed out.
___________

I awoke from the sun shining through my window, and the loud bangs coming from downstairs.

"Why'd you drop it Zach!" Jack, I assumed, yelled.

"It's not like I tried!" Zach screamed back. There was silence, and then more banging. Whatever they were carrying was hitting the walls.

I sat up from the hard floor, and immediately regretted sleeping without a mattress. My body ached from it. I ran my hands through my hair, trying to calm my bed head. My efforts failed, so I left my room to finally see what the commotion was.

Zach and Jack were trying to carry Jack's bed frame up the stairs. They definitely needed help. I went on the side of the frame, and held it steady.

"Thanks Dani." Jack grumbled out. I nodded, still not fully awake. We made it upstairs, and into the room Jack picked. It was the one across from Zach, and next to the bathroom.

I headed back down the stairs, and into our kitchen. All our parents were there, except Jonah and Corbyn's. Ryan and Reese were there too. I'm surprised no one helped Zach or Jack.

"Hey bud." My dad ruffled my hair and I went to the coffee maker. It was like the only appliance in the kitchen other than a fridge and freezer. I grabbed a mug from a box and filled it to the brim. I took a sip, and it was the perfect temperature.

"Corbyn and Jonah will arrive soon, but we really have to get back to Portland." My mom told me.

"Yeah we do too. Ryan and Reese have school." Myta, Zach's mom said. I nodded, and got hugs from my parents.

"We love you Daniel. Now behave, and stay safe." They told me in our group hug.

"I will." I reassured them. They said goodbye to Zach's parents as well as Jack's and then left. All my boxes were in the front room, along with Zach's and Jack's. Good thing we labeled them.
______

Corbyn and Jonah had gotten here, and their families had left. Now it was just us boys.

"Guess what!" Corbyn screamed. We all came running down the stairs, and joined him, sitting on the boxes.

"What?" Zach screamed back, with the same volume and energy.

"The girls are moving to LA!!" Corbyn screamed, again.

"Wait actually?!" Jonah screamed.

"Yes!"
