[Faith's POV]

"Ooo yes wear that!" Emma exclaimed. Ellie, Emma, and I were digging through my closet. We were trying to find something I could wear for my date tonight.

I had on a short yellow sundress and it had little flowers on it. It was really cute.

"I think it's perfect!" I twirled around to face the other two in the room. Elle was on her phone, texting.

"Ellie Prism Stinson, what do you think?" Her head shot up at the mention of her full name. She glared at me.

"It is perfect, Faith Rose Reed." She said back with a playful smile.

"Who are you texting?" I wiggled my eyebrows a little. Emma leaned over and giggled.

"Jack!" She yelled and Elle hid her phone.

"Hey!" She frowned.

"We know you like him." Emma said.

"Yeah you already told us." I agreed.

"Yeah I guess so." She sighed and went back to texting.

"You two are adorable together!" Emma squealed and continued looking over Ellie's shoulder. Elle just blushed. I continued to look at my dress in the mirror. Everything had to be perfect tonight.

I met Jonah at a small cafe, in downtown Portland. It was cute, and old fashioned. His head raised every time the bell to the door opened. He was wearing a nice pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and fuzzy jean jacket. He looked handsome as ever.

I walked in the little shop and he immediately looked at me. His worried face turned into a smiley expression, and he stood up.

"Hi." I said quietly once I was near him.

"Hi." Jonah replied, in the same tone. I scooted into the booth, with him on the other side. "Would you like a coffee?"

"Yes please." The waitress came over and Jonah ordered us both a mug of the beverage.

"You look beautiful tonight." He complimented after taking a sip.

"Thank you." I blushed and he grinned.

"I'm sorry about what happened with Bryan."

"It's alright." I shrugged. "He was terrible to you guys anyway."

"For the record, it was Zach's idea." I giggled and nodded.

Taking a few more sips of coffee, we continued talking and getting to know each other. He was sweet, kind, genuine, and caring. Bryan was none of those things. Jonah listened to what I had to say, though it was little, he put his full attention into every word I said.

The cafe began to fill up, as it got later. Soon it was loud and packed. I grimaced at the noise and Jonah took note.

"Should we go?" I nodded and he asked the waitress for the bill. It wasn't a very large sum of money, and of course, he paid.

He offered me his hand on the way out, and I gladly took it. Bryan's hand was soft and clean, but Jonah's was rough and calloused. It showed that he was a hard worker. I like that.
