[Jack's POV]

"Hey can Faith and I talk to you and Jonah?" Ellie came up to us before school. It was Wednesday, the day after Jonah and Faith's first date.

"Sure." I tugged are Jonah's sleeve and we headed over to where the two girls were at their lockers.

"Hey." Jonah gave Faith a side hug.

"Hey." She blushed.

"So." Ellie started.

"So." I copied her and she rolled her eyes.

"Shut up." She slapped my chest. I pretended to be hurt and held my hand over my wound.

"Since when did you turn into Isabella?" Jonah asked and chuckled. Elle glared at him but went back to explaining.

"So. Our parents want to meet you. So do you want to come over for dinner either tomorrow or tonight?" She had a hesitant smile on her face.

"Sure!" I agreed. "Tonight probably works best for me." I was hoping Ellie would go out with me tomorrow. Maybe I could ask her sometime tonight.

"Yeah that sounds good." Jo nodded.

"Ok great!" Faith gave her soon-to-be boyfriend another hug as the bell rang.

Ellie and Fay ran off towards their first class. The boys and I went in the opposite direction. We had music, along with Emma, Isa, and Charlotte.

I arrived at the Reed and Stinson home right before Jonah. I waited in my car until he showed.

"Hey you're going to ask her tonight right?" He greeted me, straight to the point.

"Yup. If I can." I nodded and we rang the doorbell.

Almost immediately, Ellie was at the door.

"Hey come on in." She gestured. I gave her a quick smile, which she returned. "Faith's in the kitchen, she'll be out soon." We sat down to talk.

After a few minutes, Fay appeared and went to sit by Jonah. We continued to talk, and soon Mrs. Stinson-Reed called.

"Time to eat!" Ellie and Faith guided us to the kitchen, where the table was. Mr. Reed was already seated and there was build-your-own tacos along the counter and table.

"This looks delicious." I complimented their mother.

"Thank you Jack." We started to dish our food, ladies first. The parents were at opposite ends of the table, while I was next to Ellie on one side, and Jonah and Faith sat together on the other.

"So tell me about yourselves." Mr. Reed turned to us. Jonah started.

"Well I really like to sing and I love coffee. My favorite book series is Harry Potter. I love nature and the outdoors. Oh, and I was born in Minnesota." He said with little pauses for thinking.

"Harry Potter? I've always liked those books." The man said. Jonah's face lit up in surprise.

"What's your favorite book in the series, Mr. Reed?" He became giddy.
