[Corbyn's POV]
I can't believe Emma would just pack up and leave. Daniel was heartbroken. He had called her at least a hundred times, but it went straight to voicemail.
The boy threw his phone on the floor in frustration, after another call. He sighed and laid back on his bed, staring at the ceiling.
"She's not coming back." He mumbled. Jonah, Jack, Zach, and I exchanged glances. This was like what happened with Parker, only worse.
Parker had actually cheated on Daniel, but she came back. Daniel, of course, broke up with her, and she left. But Emma was different. She hadn't cheated, but she left.
Suddenly, Daniel shot up, and ran into his closet. Up on a high shelf, he grabbed a suitcase, and began throwing things in it. He didn't even know what was landing in it. Daniel threw in an English textbook, a pillow, some dirty underwear, a cup, just anything.
Jonah rushed over and grabbed him, trying to hold him down. Daniel was going insane. Zach and I started returning the items in the suitcase to their originals spots, and then put the suitcase back up high.
Daniel was still struggling, trying to get free from Jonah. Zach went over to them, trying to help, but Daniel just shoved him off. Jonah whispered in his ear, and the boy stopped writhing. He broke down crying. The boys and I left, as Daniel needed some alone time.
____________________________I woke up to my phone ringing. Who would be calling me at 3:30 in the morning? I pulled my phone off of its charger and the nightstand, not even bothering to look at the caller ID.
"Hello?" I asked, my voice raspy from a deep sleep.
"Corbyn?" It was Isabella. I could know her voice anywhere. She whimpered, signaling that she was crying.
"Beautiful? What's wrong?" My voice was now full of concern, and I jumped out of bed, slipping on shorts and a hoodie.
"Can you come over?" Her soft but scared voice asked.
"I'm on my way." By that time, I was in the car, and had it started up. "I'll be right there." I hung up, and just drove.
I arrived at Isa's house, and snuck around the side. I saw the neighbor's cat out in the garbage and shhed it.
"Lorenzo! Don't tell anyone you saw me!" I whispered. His black eyes stared at me, but then the cat went back to the can. I tapped on my girlfriend's window, as she was on the first floor.
The window reeled open, revealing the girl, who had tear stains on her cheeks. She had on a cropped shirt, and spandex. My heart melted at the sight of her.
"Isa." My tone was soft as she invited me in. "Should we cuddled?" She nodded and I helped her over to the bed.
"Thanks for coming." She sniffed. Her voice was barely audible.
"Of course beautiful." I stroked her hair, and she leaned into me more. I could tell by her short breaths and shaking that she was crying. "Isa, what's wrong?" I pulled her head up, holding her chin. Isabella looked into my eyes with her watery ones, and I started to tear up too. I couldn't cry though, I needed to stay strong for her.
"She's gone, Corbs. She's gone." Isabella whispered.
"I know I know." I hugged my girl tighter, not wanting to let her go, ever. We sat there in silence for about ten minutes. I thought she had fallen asleep, until she spoke.
"I'm just scared you'll leave me alone too." She whispered. Again, it was barely audible.
"I will never leave you, I love you." I whispered back. She nodded, indicating that she heard me. Soon, little snores escaped her mouth. I gently wiped away the tears that were still moist, trying not to wake her. Eventually I fell asleep too, knowing that I would never leave the girl of my dreams.
___________________I woke up to small hands shaking me. My eyelids fluttered open, revealing Ian, her little brother.
"Hi bud, what's up?" I quietly questioned, not wanting to wake Isabella, who was still sleeping.
"Will you help me make pancakes?" He whispered, catching on.
"Sure." I nodded. I pulled away from Isabella, and she didn't wake up. I scooted off the bed and walked into the kitchen, finding Ian with a whole ton of ingredients on the counter. "Ok I don't think we need the cocoa powder." I explained, picking it up and moving it onto another counter since I didn't know where it belonged.
"Can't we make chocolate pancakes?" He asked, with big eyes.
"Sure. Why not." I laughed and put it back over with the other ingredients. The little boy and I mixed up the homemade chocolate batter, and soon the pancakes were on the griddle, cooking.
Isabella walked into the room, now wearing a pair of my joggers over her spandex. She yawned and sat down at the table next to her little brother.
"Hey." She smiled a little. "Chocolate pancakes?" She laughed after seeing Ian's plate.
"Yup!" Ian said with a mouthfull.
"Want some?" I offered. She nodded, and I dished up another plate, along with my own. I brought it over to her, with a cup of milk.
"Mm this is delicious!" She laughed after tasting the food.
"Ian and I are spectacular cooks. Right bud?" I bragged. He nodded and I gave him a fist bump.
____"Thank you." Isabella said, walking to the door with me later that day.
"Yeah I had fun cooking with Ian." I shrugged and looked down at the boy who was clinging to my leg.
"No I meant about last night." She said and grabbed my hand.
"I would do it every night if I could." I smiled and rubbed her thumb. Isa returned the gesture, and then pulled her brother off my leg.
"Ok let's let Corbyn go home, ok?" She said in a silly voice. He nodded with a sad frown, and I messed up his hair. He giggled, and got down from Isabella. He ran into the other room, disappearing. "Bye." Isabella turned to me and kissed me.
"Bye." I replied after our long kiss had to be ended.
