-chapter 23-

[Daniel's POV]

Zach's plan was stupid, but it did work. Emma shouldn't have had to do that though. She didn't want Bryan back in her life, even for a few minutes. And what's worse, I had to watch the whole thing.

We arrived at Ellie and Faith's, the aroma of popcorn spilling out the front door. Zach ran in, hungry. There was some yelling, coming from Charlotte. Those two were so immature when they were together, but they were perfect for each other.

The girls came downstairs, and Faith welcomed us in. She gave Jonah a big hug while whispering something in his ear. He smiled and blushed and we all went to sit down.

"Are you two coming?" Jack yelled up to Lottie and Zach as they were taking forever.

"Coming!" Zach called back. Their voices were heard at the top of the stairs and in a few moments they were sitting next to each other on the couch. Lottie was next to Isabella, who was next to Corbyn of course. Emma was in front of Isa, and I was in front of Lottie. We were both on the floor.

Faith was cuddled up with Jonah, while he found a movie, and Ellie and Jack were on the same couch as well.

"Jonah, we're not watching Harry Potter." Zach told him and the other guys agreed.

"Why?" He whined.

"Because we watch it every single time." Corbyn put emphasis on the last three words.

"Well I say we watch Coraline!" Isa announced. Corbyn furrowed his eyebrows.

"We just watched that Isa." She shrugged.

"How about we watch Rogue 1 or something?" I I suggested.

"I'm down." Emma agreed and others nodded.

"Fine." Jonah sighed and went to put it in. The movie started.

About half an hour in, Emma's head slid onto my shoulder. She was still awake, but getting very sleepy. I wrapped my arm around her waist to make it more comfortable and soon enough she was asleep. She was adorable when she slept.

I carefully glanced around the room to see that others were asleep too. I shifted into a more comfortable position and dozed off.

I woke up to Jack's voice yelling. "I'm not homeless!" Emma started rolling around a bit and I opened my eyes to see everyone sprawled out on the furniture.

"Well I'm heading out." Emma said after we all had woken up. I got up along with her and started gathering up my things. The others followed.

Emma went over and gave Faith a huge bear hug, along with whispering something in her ear. Corbyn had fallen back asleep, but Isabella woke him up.

Once everyone had gathered all their things, we made our way to the door. Charlotte and Zach left first, hopping in their cars. Next was Isabella and Corbyn. He drove her home. Jack left at the same time as them, and then came me and Emma.

"Bye guys!" I said as I backed out the door with Emma. Fay was giving Jonah a long hug and they were talking. The front door was closed by Ellie, and then it was just Emma and I.
