[Daniel's POV]

"Since when?!" I shouted at Zach. Corbyn and Jack also looked confused, but everyone else, was smiling.

"She was at the concert." Faith spoke first. At that my eyes widened and shot up. She heard our song.

"And I saw her when Jonah and I went for a walk." Zach explained. "I invited her over, so yeah." I sat there for a moment, frozen, thinking. Then I bolted up to my room.

I ran my hands through my brunette and platinum hair. Then I remembered my tattoo. The tattoo I got. It was an 'X' with little dashes leading to it, like a treasure map. I would definitely have to hide that on Friday when she came.

I had less than four days to mentally prepare. I needed to know what I was going to say. Did she still care about me? Is she mad? This was not good.

I heard voices downstairs, but just assumed it was Jack and Zach arguing about something, and then Jonah trying to break the bickering up. It quieted down a little after a few seconds.

A minute later footsteps sounded up the stairs, and stopped at the end of the hall, outside of my door. The person knocked, after taking a deep breath.

"Come in!" I spoke, finishing up a demo I was making on my computer. I didn't look up to see who it was, nor did I remove my headphones from my ears. The person went and sat on my bed, waiting for me to finish.

I finally did, and turned in my chair. There sat Emma, on my bed. My breath hitched. I hadn't seen her in about three years. She looked the same, but different. She looked even more beautiful.

Emma fidgeted with the rings on her fingers. I could only see the tips of her nails, as she had an oversized long sleeved shirt on. Her nails weren't manicured, just natural. She had on a black beanie, that had the same fish symbol as her off white shirt. She had on jean shorts, and Nike socks covering her small feel.

"Hi." I whispered, it was barely audible. Her head shot up at the sound of my voice, and she spoke too.

"Hi." It was in the same tone. I cleared my throat and asked her a question.

"How are you?" I moved out of the chair at my desk, and onto the bed next to her.

"I've been," she paused, "good. I've been good." Emma nodded, almost trying to convince herself. "And you? How have you been Daniel?"

"The same I guess." The room was silent for what seemed like ages. All I wanted to do was hold her hand, make up for lost time. But I didn't know if she still felt like I did.

"Listen." We both blurted out at once. We chuckled together, and then I spoke.

"Let me go first."

"Wow that's very kind of you." She said sarcastically while rolling her eyes. I froze, not sure how to take it. I didn't know if she was annoyed or not. "Chill, Daniel. I don't care." She laughed. I missed that laugh.

"I should have listened to you. I was wrong. I'm so so sorry."

"No all the facts were pointing towards me cheating on you, so I don't blame you." She stopped me.

"But I didn't trust you. I should have. And I realize that. I trust you now though." She fiddled some more at my words.

"I trust you too." Emma eventually said. She took my hand in her own, and the inside of my left wrist was revealed.

"Oh." I mumbled, along with some other words under my breath. I released her hand and hid my wrist again.

"Dani?" She asked softly. I found her deep hazel eyes. They weren't looking at me, but down at her own wrist. The cream sleeve was now rolled up, and on her left wrist was a tattoo, almost identical to mine. I gasped. Emma gently pulled my arm out from hiding, and lined up our tattoos.

Our eyes met, and we both held the same longing in them. We were both drawn forward, by a force. We didn't stop though. Our lips brushed past each other, and the feeling I've been missing flooded my veins again.

"I love you." I whispered. It was barely audible, and my breath bounced off her lips.

"I love you." Emma whispered back. Finally, I placed my lips on hers, softly, but with passion. We both kissed instantly. I had missed this. I had missed us.

My arms wandered around her waist as I pulled her closer to me, and hers around my neck. Her fingers tangled into my hair, messing it up. I didn't care though. I had her back.

After about a minute, we both pulled back, needing oxygen. I rested my forehead down on hers, and we just stared into each other's eyes. I examined her hazel orbs, as she examined my blue ones.

"Promise you won't leave me." I breathed out.

"Pinky promise." Emma answered not even a second later. She held out her little finger with a giggle, and I latched mine with it. We kissed again, just as passionately.

"Let's go." I said and stood up from the bed, our fingers intertwined.

"Where?" She asked with the giggle I had missed so much.

"You'll see!" I picked Emma up and threw her over my shoulder. She screamed, and held onto me for dear life. I ran down the stairs multitasking. I slipped the socks off her feet, and the beanie off her head. I ran out back to where the others were around the pool, and jumped in the water.

"Dani!" She yelled when we were back above the water. I grinned, and pulled off my now drenched hoodie. I threw it over the side, and onto the concrete. "I will get you!" She laughed and swam over to me.

"Oh real-" I got cut off as my head was plunged underwater. "You're gonna get it!" I caught up to her and pulled her close to me. I placed my lips on hers again, and smiled into the kiss. We were broken apart by Zach screaming and diving into the water.

"Demma forever!"
