A/N: Hiya guys!! So just a quick side note here; this chapter is a bit shorter than all my others but it is just a sexy/cute filler chapter but even so, with that said it was needed to help the story continuously flow.😊
Anyways, happy reading!😁

Wiping the thick fog from the bathroom mirror with a small towel, my lips curled into a smile at the girl staring back at me. I feel happy and my heart feels light, everything that has happened this past week has been nothing short of amazing. During the day I'm baking and taking orders but at night I'm a dirty little baker, succumbing to the sweetness of something exceptionally different from a piece of cake.
Blush thats my cheeks as I think the words in my mind and recall just how many times I licked and sucked, driving Damon absolutely mad with pleasure. I bit my lower lip as I towel dried my hair. It was Sunday night and I had just finished taking a shower while Damon decided to run out and get us a pizza for dinner.
Earlier this morning I had dropped off the dozens upon dozens of pastries I had made for Haleys Bridal Brunch. She sealed when I appeared at her doorstep and invited me inside to meet all the girls and have a mimosa and pastry with them, as sweet as it was, I was a bit timid being I was just the baker and I had no reason to intrude on this brides brunch but she insisted with a charming smile and pulled me in.
Long story short, I ended up setting the pastries in pretty decorative plates with her and taking up her offer on that mimosa and lemon raspberry scone. I smiled as I thought of my Sunday morning, it was fun and one for the books. Haley was a very sweet bride and not at all demanding — at least not what I saw of her.
On my way home from that little rendezvous, as I pulled up into the driveway, my phone buzzed with a video call from Ricki. I spent over an hour sat in the car video chatting with him! I was so happy to hear from him and ecstatic he had called — despite the fact we talk at least once a week, more if possible. He and his young teacher boyfriend, Jake, are still going strong and have been living as if they were on their honeymoon every day. I giggled and gagged every time he brought up sexual situations he and Jake found themselves in. Then his smile dropped and he told me the latest on my ex, he who I am not going to name because not even his name is worth coming from my lips. I save my breath for important things.
Ricki told me that curiously to the town news, he found out he was released a few days ago but he hasn't seen nor heard of him — he wasn't sure if he ever went back to the apartment looking for me but he warned me with worry in his eyes to be careful because there was no telling what my ex would do, if he is capable of almost killing me, he is capable of finding me to finish where he started...
I sat there in a few moments of silence, feeling oddly safe. I should have feared, I should have felt scared that he would find me but I didn't...I passed on my feelings to Ricki and told him I was safe here and that my family helps me feel strong. I changed my phone number and I don't have a car nor home registered in my name yet so the only thing he can still check up on is my business website and that will give him nothing.
After saying our goodbyes, which included but was not limited to love you peanut butter and love you jelly; he was peanut butter, I was jelly. He came to the conclusion that because I'm a baker and I love sweets, I'm jelly and because he loves nuts, he is peanut butter. I remember laughing so hard I cried when he told me.
By the time I finished chatting with him it was lunch and I decided to spend it with my dad and catch up, since I had been spending so many nights with Damon — which he knows nothing about — I turned the car back around, rushed to the grocery store and picked up all the fixings for his favorite lunch. Oven roasted chicken salad sandwiches on Italian bread. Yum!
