Chapter 13: New colleagues or new enemies?

"You," Theo pointed Estelle. Estelle's eyebrows meet, her eyes narrows on Theo and her teeth are grinding."You are appointed to be my Secretary."

Nanlaki ang mata ko. I glance at Admirer and Shoal. They are dead shock too. I saw Bea approaching, maybe I'll call her formal, Estelle while holding the fudging white envelope.

Naging kamao ang aking kamay, fudge that Despicable [Theo]. He hooked us already and now Estelle!? This is the most despicable man I've ever seen in my whole entire life! Fudge!

"I, Theo Vuitton, hereby appoint you Estelle Clemence to be my Secretary. That's final. Nothing can erase and no one can take that position unless it's you. You can't say no since it is signed by the principal and I. The wicked wheel will be waiting if ever you fail with your duty. Good luck."

We are in our glass dining table. Heartle is still cooking while Stellar, Admirer and I are in the table just sitting. I sit properly and scratch my brows.

"Stellar," I announced.

She immediately look at me intently. "What?"

I close my eyes and take a deep breath. Huh, sana hindi na niya ako hindi-an. I open my eyes and smile at her. "Let's play. Rock, paper, scissors!"

Nanlaki ang mata ko. Tumingin ako sa kaliwa ko nang dahan-dahan. Hindi ko pa tuluyan itong nakita ngunit napapikit ulit ako. Kiniskis ko and aking ngipin na magsimulang maramdaman ko and sakit ng aking ulo at leeg.

"Morbo!" Shoal shouted.

Anong morbo? Ang alam ko lang malboro! Fudge talaga ang ka-brutalan nitong si Heartle. Binato ba naman ako ng strainer at talong! Shoal is really shoal. Putek, ang lakas ng pagkabato!

"Heartle, what's morbo?" I heard Admirer asking Shoal.

"Morbo, moron plus bobo!" Shoal said while pointing her index finger at the ceiling and looking away with bold eyes.

Hindi ko mapigilang matawa sa isip ko. Si Admirer ay nag-bow at nilagay ang kanyang dalawang kamay sa kanyang mukha. Kahit ang badtrip na si Stellar ay kinakagat ang gustong kumawalang ngisi ng labi niya. Sumasakit na ang tiyan ko. Hindi ko na kaya pigilan!

Tumawa na ako ng malakas. Sumunod naman sa akin si Stellar at Admirer. Tawa kami ng tawa. Si Heartle pala dapat na maging Joker. Lol. Nakita ko nakalagay ang kamay ni Estelle sa tiyan niya. Si Loris naman ay nakakamao ang kanyang kamay habang pinipiga to sa kanyang labi.

Biglang natigil ang aming pagtawa ng may kumatok sa pinto. Nagkatinginan kaming lahat and all of us are wearing the same expression, grimace. Heartle immediately run into the living room. The three of us gazes at each other.

It's already morning. I am done doing my morning stuff. I am in the living room and patiently waiting for Stellar, Shoal and Admirer. Today is our first day as part of SAC and COR. To tell you, I am not nervous at all. At least, I am not yet.

Up until now, I don't know why Despicable [Theo] chose Stellar to be his secretary. Is it a coincidence that the four newbies are the four new members of SAC and COR? If this is intentional, could Despicable be the one who is behind all of this?

I blink my eyes back and forth when I realized that I am spacing out again. I sit properly and my eyes directly lands on them as I felt their presence. Stellar is raising her brows while holding the strap of her bag. Admirer is pulling his head backwards. Shoal is frowning.

"What's up!" I said as I stand.

Estelle twisted her lips. At the same time, Heartle and Estelle rolls their eyes. "Let's go? Before Oliver says another worthless words," Estelle said.
