CHAPTER 42

Bella's POV.

Yeah I'm right hindi nga yun ang ibig sabihin ni sir, ang ibig sabihin ni sir ay kung how you look presentable. Magmumuka ka daw matalino kapag maayos ka tingnan like what Kent look like now. Hindi daw katulad ng dati na puro gusot ang uniform and unpleasant sa mata. That's why sir ask that how do you know of someone is smart by its appearance?

I look to the person beside me, he looks pissed and annoyed. Nakakuyom ang kamay niya sa babaw ng lamesa, siguro hindi siya satisfied sa naging resulta.

I want to talk to him want to say that it's fine, its not a bug deal at all. But knowing him alam kong dadalhin yan hanggang mapagod siya kakaisip.

Lunch time came, I can't no longer see Kent. Nakita ko na naman si Bryan si labas as usual he is always been consistent but there's something off with him. He didn't wear the aura that he always have, parang may dinadamdam siya ngayon anong meron?

"Hey.." I said, bago pa niya akong mapansin na nasa gilid na niya ako. "Hey.. let's go they're waiting." He said, I'm waiting for him to kiss my forehead like he what always do. But he didn't kiss me bagkos hinawakan niya lang ang wrist ko at kinaladkad papunta ng canteen.

This is unusual yeah I'm right there's something off in him, it started when he let me go inside my room alone. Nakita kona ang iba na nasa table na lagi naming inuupuan, they're talking and smiling with each other. Pero naagaw ng atensiyon ko ng isang lalaking nakaupo sa gilid, it's Kent nakaupo sa pang dalawahang table.

He's with someone, I can't recognize the woman kasi nakatalikod siya. Hindi ko makita ang mukha niya, they are talking and laughing too. Kent is smiling the genuine smile that I've never seen for awhile.

"Bella.." Napatingin ako kay Anne na tinawag ako pagkatapos naming umupo ni Bryan. Tiningnan din nila kung saan ang mata ko nakatingin, bigla rin nilang tinikom ang mga bibig nila. "he's so strange." Anne said.

"Yeah, definitely agree but seems like he's still the person we know before sadyang hindi na siya natin nakakasama. He's cool to be with by the way." Zach added.

"Who's that woman?" Clark ask. Yeah I want to know that person too, "I think that's the new student here, kasabay na pumasok nila Jm and Clark."

"Yeah, I heard that there's also a new student here aside from me and Clark I heard that it's a woman. Maybe it's her." Jm said.

Kahit siguro na tingnan ko ang mukha niya hindi ko rin makikilala yan. Tiningnan ko ang katabi ko, he looks like uncomfortable anong meron sa isang to? Tiningnan ko kung saan siya nakatingin, I turned around sa babaeng kausap ni Kent.

Kent's POV.

This I think would work, I just see Bella earlier entered the canteen I fake laugh as if I'm really interested to the person in front of me. But consciously my eye and mind is focusing in her, seeing them being happy together without me? It sucks, it's uneasy, it's unhappy. But I tried, I try to pretend that everything is going to be fine knowing that it will not.

Para akong sinasaksak ng paulit-ulit, masakit but I will always try I laugh hard and pretending that I have teary eyes because of laughter. Pero ang totoo nasasaktan ako, naiiyak ako hindi sa tawa kundi dahil sa sakat. Sa sakit na nakikita ko ngayon, Katrina keep on throwing jokes na wala namang mga sense pero ito ako tumatawa ng malakas na kunwari nakakatawa, pero hindi naman talaga.

I give a glance at their place, they are eating together. It seems like there's an off atmosphere swallowed them, I don't know what it is but I try not to care to it anymore. "So you're taking engineering?" Naagaw ang atensiyon ko ni Katrina, I nod and force to have a smile. "You what course did you take?" I ask para naman may pagusapan kami.
