Ryan groans as she wakes up the next morning, her body stiff from passing out on the couch. She stands up and she stretches out her sore limbs before she notices that Alaric has to gone to work. Ryan goes to the kitchen of cook but heads then someone knock on the door.
Ryan pulls her hair up and goes to the door, and she finds Jenna.
"Hey!" Ryan grins. "Come in. Want some pancakes?"
"Sure," Jenna replies.
Ryan walks to the kitchen with a bit more pep in her step. "Any reason you stopped by? My dad isn't here."
"I came to see you," Jenna confesses. "I haven't told Elena she was adopted yet."
"I won't approach her without a face cover until you do," Ryan says. "I don't want to freak her out."
Jenna smiles. "Thank you, Ryan."
"I'll bring you your pancakes... you want one or two?" Ryan asks. "Chocolate chip or blueberry?"
"Chocolate chip, and two."
Ryan smirks. "We have the same taste."

Alaric rummages through his car in the school parking lot, in search of his ring. He knows Ryan won't touch it just because Isobel was the one who gave it to him. So he just knows he misplaced it somewhere.
"Hey, mr. Saltzman!" Jeremy greets as he jogs over.
"Hey, Jeremy," Alaric greets. "I, uh... can't find my ring. I took it off for the gym,nand thought I put it...there it is!. He grabs the ring when he finds it and slips it right back on. "Losing family heirlooms... bad." Alaric relaxes a little and he faces Jeremy. "How's your extra credit coming? You pick a topic?"
"Mystic Falls, the Civil War era," Jeremy replies.
"What's the angle?" Ric asks.
"My family," Jeremy replies. "I found a journal who lived here in the 1800s. And the Gilbert's were one of the original founding families of Mystic Falls, so..."
"That sounds good," Alaric says.
"Tell Ryan that I want some more of her cooking," Jeremy says.
Alaric grins. "Will do."

"Those were good," Jenna compliments. "I have to go, but it was really nice to see you again."
"It was nice seeing you as well, Jenna," Ryan says with a smile, Jenna still thinks it's creepy - she feels like she's looking t Elena with curly hair.
Jenna nods and she leaves in a hurry. Ryan frowns before she cleans up the dishes used this morning.

Elena returns to the boarding house when she gets back from Georgia with Damon. She walks upstairs and goes to Stefan's bedroom.
"Hi," Elena greets.
Stefan looks up at her. "Hi."
