Isobel looks at her girls. "Hello, girls. It's nice to see you again."
Jenna looks at Elena and Ryan, heartbreak in her eyes. "Again?"
Isobel smirks when the girls don't reply. "So, you're the woman who's dating my husband. I need to speak with my twins. May I come in?"
"Oh no, absolutely not," Ryan seethes. "Don't invite her in."
"I need to y'all to you guys, Ryanelle," Isobel says, using Ryan's given name.
"No!" Ryan snaps as she slams the door in Isobel's face, tears in her eyes. "I need Damon."
"Get to the boarding house." Elena says and henads her, her keys. "Drive my bar. I'll bring yours."
Ryan puts on some flats she left her and she stumbles out the door, crying. Why does her mother have to have this effect on her? She's supposed to hate her but every time Isobel shows up, it brings back raw emotions and it truly breaks Ryan's heart. Ryan wishes Isobel was a good mother, someone she could love. But she also wishes Isobel was never her mother so that she could hate her.
Ryan parks outside the boarding house and screams out, punching Elena!s stirring wheel.
"Why can't I hate her?!" Ryan sobs and Stefan comes out.
"Ryan?"
"Stefan. Is... is Damon here?" Ryan whimpers.
"I've never seen you cry before," Stefan points out.
"I don't... I don't like to," Ryan replies. "I don't understand why I can't hate her."
"She's your mother, no matter how bad she did you," Stefan says as he grips her shoulders. "Damon's inside wirh Katherine."
Ryan nods and she walks inside. "Damon?"
Damon looks at her and when he sees her mascara stained cheeks, his heart shatters. Katherine frowns ar Ryan's broken face. Damon crosses the room and he hugs Ryan close, she buried her head in chest and sons as Katherine walks over and touches her back.
"Katherine, can you go get Myra?" Salon asks. "She needs her."
Katherine nods. "Anything."
"Shh," Damon coos as Katherine flashes out. "I'm here. Cry it out... it's normal not to hate your mother, she raised you. Not in a good way, but she did raise you."
Ryan just stays there in Damon's arms and he holds her close. <<<!>>>
