Damon looks in on Ryan sleeping; she had come back at around one in the morning and let herself in because Damon left the door unlocked, and she slept in his bed instead of another room. She had told him she hadn't a nightmare about her attack and needed to feel safe, and apparently she felt safe beside Damon.

He walks over and he pulls his dark blanket over her sleeping form before smiling a little and leaving the room. He speeds downstIrs and he sits on the couch in the study, he picks the Emily Bennett's grimoire off the coffee table that says is out of place in the Victorian theme of the house, the comment is one that Damon chose to ignore.

Damon smiles to himself as he thinks about Ryan and he flips through the grimoire, reading up on the spells and trying to find a specific one. Damon's phone keeps ringing but every time he sees that it's his brother, he ignores ear calls an Stefan just keeps leaving voicemails. Damon sighs as he listens to them. Apparently Anna took Elena.

Damon rolls his eyes at his brothers voice as he enters the house.

"Anna took Elena."

"Yeah, I got that from your six hundred voicemails," Damon replies as he flips through the grimoire in search of the tomb spell.

Stefan strifes across the room, getting closer to his big brother. "Damon, all night long, every single street in town, I've been searching. What if your blood hasn't passed out of her system?"

"Well, then at least you know you'll see her again," Damon states.

"Please," Stefan pleads as he sits beside Damon on the leather couch. "What do you know? You were with Anna, you must know where she's living. Just tell me where she is."

Damom looks up at his little brother with an emotionless face. "Nope. You can go. Really."

"You know, all I can remember is hating you," Stefan admits. "There might have time when that was different, but your choices have erased anything good about you."

Feeling no other choice, Damon puts the grimoire on the coffee table and he turns to face Stefan, giving him his undivided attention with a sarcastic grin on his face.

"But see," Stefan continues, "I also know you have just as much reason to hate me. This all began with me. Katherine got taken away from you because of me. And I'm sorry."

Damon eyes his little brother before replying, "apology forgiven."

"So please, just tell me what you know," Stefan begs.

"Huh," Damon scoffs.

"It's Elena, Damon... Ryan's sister," Stefan pleads and Damon growls when his brother brings Ryan into this. "If you know something, tell me."

"I mean this with sincerely..." Damon says and Stefan nods. "I hope Elena dies and Stefan?"

"Yeah?" Stefan asks with a shaky voice.

"Don't you dare bring Ryan into that stuff again," Damon growls and he goes upstairs.

Damon finds Ryan standing in front of his fireplace in one of his shirts and a pair of yoga shores. Just by looking at her he can tell she's fit, that she works out and fights vampires. She is identical to both Elena and Katherine, but she is neither one. She's the happy twin, the fit twin, the twin who doesn't see Damon as a monster.
