Chapter 49: The Reckoning

Ryan is in a classroom filled with set mouse traps with Tyler, Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie. It's senior prank night. And for tonight, Ryan's dressed down. She's in some black leggings, her deep purple Team Edward shirt, and some purple Jordan's. she has her bracelet form Elijah and her vervain necklace too, and her hair is in a tight ponytail. No make up and no earrings.

Suddenly, the door opens and every single one of the traps go off.

"Ow!" Ryan yelps as one closss on her finger. "Ouch! Dammit!"

The light turns on and Tyler gasps at Ryan's finger.

"Caroline, heal her."

Caroline carefully walks over and she removes the trap and heals her while she scolds Matt. The group has been setting this class room up very carefully for what see,s like hours. Ryan is having a blast, though.

"Forgot about senior prank night, huh?" Tyler asks him.

"Clearly," Matt says after Caroline heals Ryan and returns to her spot.

"How could you forget?" Caroline asks. "These are the memories that will stay with us forever, and if we don't..."

"And if we don't create these memories now, what's the point in it all?" Elena finishes for her in amusement.

"Go ahead and make fun," Caroline pouts, "I don't care."

"You're all lame," Tyler comments. "And I've got ten more classrooms to prank. Ryan, Wanna come be mischievous with the douche?"

Ryan grins wickedly and she stands. "Oh, hell yes. I do." Ryan follows him out the door and into the hallway. "I'm going to the gym to help Dana and Chad."

Ryan takes the short way, which is through a hall going to the bathrooms and another hall and boom! Ryan walks into the gym and Dana smiles.

"Ryan!" Dana waves her over, and she follows. "You look beautiful even when you're in a T-shirt and sneakers."

"Thank you, Dana," Ryan replies. "Where do you want me?"

"Attentions seniors!" someone suddenly yells. "You've officially been busted. Prank night is over. Head on home."

Ryan looks up and her eyes widen; Klaus has dragged Elena into the gym. Ryan runs to Elemis side and pulls her close to her. Klaus looks at Ryan, looking her over and he turns to Dana and Chad.

"You two, I remember you," Klaus claims.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Dana asks.

"Oh, don't worry, I wasn't in my right head last time we met," Klaus says and he compels her, "life your foot up, please, Dana."

Ryan sighs. "And the bully is back," she mutters and she goes to sit on the bleachers.

Klaus looks at Chad and compels him, too; "if she drops her foot, Chad, I want you to beat her to death. Understood?"

Chad nods, not speaking. He and Dana are both scared. Ryan is just plain annoyed, sitting with her elbow on her knee and her jaw on her, glaring as the Klaus takes control.
