Ryan sits on the couch with her head on the back of the couch in the living room while Damon makes himself a drink. The two might not be in love anymore, but they are friends, regardless of him falling for Elena.
Ryan's phone rings and she groans before getting up, earning an amused chuckle from Damon.
"You're saving me from my boredom, thank you, stranger," Ryan muses.
"You miss me?" Katherine asks.
"Kitty!" Ryan squeals and Damon groans. "Where is my favorite evil bitch?"
"Lurking out your window, wishing to go shopping," Katherine purrs. "How's lover boy?"
"Into my sister," Ryan says and Damon chokes on his drink. "What is that you need, gorgeous?"
"Quit complimenting me just to compliment yourself," Katherine scolds and Ryan laughs. "I'm homesick. What have I missed, RyRy?"
"Stefan is still with Klaus, Elena thinks she can save him, Elena and Damon have sexual tension so I'm done with him, and I'm the only one who's thought of you since you left," Ryan explains.
"I miss you, too, Ryan," Katherine chuckles. "I'm sorry for Damon and little miss Elena."
"It's okay, Kitty kat," Ryan replies. "You know where Stefan is, don't you? That's why you're calling little ole' me. You know I see Stefan like a brother."
"I called because I miss you." Katherine says. "And I couldn't be further away."
"Which means you know exactly where they are," Ryan purrs. "You forget Katherine, you're just like me. Or I'm just like you, whatever."
"All I know is that Klaus pitched a fit because his hybrids didn't work," Katherine says and Damon is listening to every word. "Now he's looking for some answers."
"How do you know that, kitty?" Ryan asks.
"Spend 500 years running, and there will be a few people along the way that are looking out for you," Katherine replies.
"Mm, is thst what you're doing?" Ryan coos. "Looking out for Stefan?"
"Maybe, maybe not," Katherine replies. "I'm conflicted.,
Ryan laughs. "Where are they, Kitty kat?"

Fully dressed for the road trip, Ryan goes running into Elena's room. Damon lets her so she can run off some of her excited energy. He doesn't know why she's so excited, but she gets to see Stefan again. Ryan jumps on Elena's bed, startling Elena do bad - she falls out of the bed.
"Oomph!" Elena grunts and she sits up, pushing her hair out of her face. "Ryan! What the heck!?" Elena bushes out laughing at thr excited girl on her bed. "What's wrong? Why are you so excited? Why are so so happy at...?" She looks at her alarm. "6:00am!? Really?"
"I found Stefan!" Ryan shrieks. "Get ready! Let's go! Let's go!"
"Okay, okay, calm down!" Elena laughs. "I'll get ready. Where is he?"
"Chicago," Ryan replies.
"How do you know?" Elena asks.
