"Don't go near me or I swear I'm gonna kick your ass out of this house!", Samantha warned, glaring at Carlton who's just laughing at her now together with Edzel and Andrew.

These dickheads! Magkakaibigan nga sila. Kinukulit kasi ni Carlton si Sam habang nagso-solve sa Math. Yung isa naman napipikon dahil hindi niya maintindihan ang itinuturo ni Miah sa kanya.

"Guys, focus!", Jeremiah authoritative voice spread all over our sala, "You, Montero, if you can't be serious even just for today, you may go home and study on your own", and that made the guys shut up. They promptly picked their hand-outs and started to read. Nakakatawa lang na takot sila kay Miah.

"Masaya ka?", I glared at Edzel who's silently laughing beside me on the floor.

He looked at me and cleared his throat to erase that stupid smile on his lips. Psh!

"Why don't you just get snacks, instead? Di mo na naman need mag-aral", itinulak ko siya para tumayo at pumuntang kusina.

"Pag ako bumagsak, kasalan mo dahil inuutos-utasan mo lang ako imbes na mag-aral", he said before standing up and heading to our kitchen. Inirapan ko na lang.

Since we will have a whole week-examination this coming week before the Christmas break, we decided to spend the whole weekend reviewing and studying here in our apartment. Dito pa sila natulog kagabi and we even had a drink before we sleep.

Narealize kong ang dami ko pala talagang biniling alak noong mga nakaraang linggo dahil ang daming nakalagay sa fridge at cabinet.

I can't totally remember what happened that night, though. Ang alam ko lang umiyak ako sa kanya. Good thing he didn't bring that up the next morning. Maybe he knew that I'm not ready to talk about it when sober.

Fel and I haven't talk again after that day. I was trying to reach her but her phone is always off. Hindi rin siya nagbubukas ng social media so I assumed na ayaw pa rin niya akong kausapin. Maybe I'll just visit her once I go home in Batangas.

"Your parents are so cool, noh?", Jeremiah said when we were already finished with our reviews. Dito sila ulit matutulog since Sunday pa lang naman bukas.

Nakaupo na lang kaming mga babae dito sa dining table while the boys are having their drinks in the sala, ofcourse watching basketball. Boys and their balls!

"Why?", I asked while holding my beer in can.

"I mean your mom and del Carmen's mom. They're still bestfriends and they allow you to live with him"

"Yeah, they're like sisters, actually", I smiled when I remembered how closed Tita Dianna and mom are.

"Hindi mo type, Beb?", I almost splash my beer out of my mouth when Gerlie suddenly blurted that out. Sobrang out of nowhere! I wipe the sides of my mouth with my hand.

"No, ofcourse not!"

"Edzel is handsome, don't try to deny it, Czai. And he's kind and smart. Sobrang total package kahit nakakaasar sila minsan", Samantha while crossing her arms.

"No, we're just friends...", I almost stop when I realized what I just said. So, we're friends?, "I mean, I only see him as one".

"Sure? No monkey business happening at all? I mean, not to be stereotyping, but you're practically living together".

"Whatever monkey business you're talking about, swear nothing's happening like that. We're just normal friends, housemates", I shrugged.
