Just want to inform you that Twisted Fate has only one chapter left then epilogue (Edzel's POV).

by the way, this chapter is 8800+ words, so this is a bit long update. I don't proof read my works so please bare with my typos and grammar errors.

Despite drinking chamomile tea, I still couldn't sleep properly that night. I kept on sighing and turning my body on different sides and whenever I close my eyes, the kiss would always pop in my head. It's getting irritating as minutes went by everytime I remember that he left me without proper explanation.

So that's it? Manghahalik na lang bigla then aalis nang walang paliwanag? What's that for, right?

I'm not sure what time I drifted to sleep but I'm pretty sure that it wasn't that long because I was still so sleepy when Sam woke me up the next day. She excitedly wore her one piece backless black bikini while I languidly wore my two piece high waist thong burgundy bikini.

"Didn't you sleep well last night? You looked so sleepy", she's putting oil on her body because she wanted to get tan.

"I couldn't sleep", I looked on my sunblock then drifted to the oil that she's using, maybe getting tan is a good idea? "I think I like to have tan lines too"

She laughed and gave me the bottle of oil, "You're too white and you're actually whiter now. I think tan would really look good on you".

I applied oil on my body and let my hair down since it's too short to put into a bun.

I wore a white floral maxi dress over my bikini since we still need to eat our breakfast before hitting the beach. Kasabay pa naming lumabas ng casita sina Miah so I volunteered to carry her baby who's about to get one year old next week.

"I like your new haircut and hair color, Czai. It suits you", Samantha smiled while we were heading to the restaurant.

"Thanks, Sammie"

I looked at Baby Luxie who's quietly playing with my hair. She is a combination of her mom and dad. Her eyes' shape was inherited from her mommy as well as her lips, nose and her curly and long lashes. Her hair color is same with Lux which is naturally blonde as well as her blue-colored eyes. Her thick but well-shaped eyebrow were also like her dad's and ofcourse her milky-white skin was from her mom. This baby will surely grow up beautifully. And she's also smart like her Mom!

"Tita Sam", the snob little guy excitedly ran to Samantha once we entered the restaurant. Sam welcomed him with a warm hug and immediately picked him up, "Where did you sleep? I thought you're going to sleep beside me?", I could hear them talking but I chose to ignore. I turned my gaze on Edzel who's busy talking with Feltcher on the table. He never even once took a glance on me.

So, ano yung kagabi? Wala lang?

They were all here including Frankie, who's quietly sitting on the corner of the table. I gave baby Luxie back to Miah before I walked towards where Frankie is. He turned his head to me when I sat beside him, eyes lingering on me but I didn't mind. I leaned my back on the back rest and slowly brought my eyes to Edzel who's sitting just in front of me. He's now busy talking to Sam, who's still carrying the snob kid on her arm.

"Daddy, I will swim in the beach!", my forehead creased when I heard how good the kid could talk. Ilang taon na ba 'to? Probably 2 years old since I've been away for almost 3 years? He could already talk smoothly and his words were already clear and he talks smart, most of the time. Well, what do I expect? His father topped the board exam during his time.
