Kabanata 3

It's been a week since our classes started. I'm still adjusting to my new life as a college student, and of course, as someone living alone away from her family. 

Living here in Manila is really fun but it's also challenging for me since I'm not used to living on a city. 

You have to endure everyday traffic especially if you went out during rush hour. The smoke coming from the vehicles, the very hot weather and the flood due to clogged drainage during the rainy days added to my list of "What is Manila". Yeah, I mentally listed them.

Basang-basa ang damit at sapatos ko nang abutan ako ng ulan noong isang araw. I had my umbrella but I think that's not enough since super lakas ng ulan at ang bilis talagang bumaha.

Sa loob rin ng isang linggong kasama ko si Edzel sa bahay, wala naman siyang kagaguhang ginawa. Hindi rin niya ako inaasar o pinapansin man lang. 

I don't know and I don't care. Mukhang nag-comply siya dun sa sinabi ko na let's live in peace. Sobrang peaceful actually to the point na parang hindi ako nag-eexist sa buhay niya. Well, ganoon rin naman siya sa akin. Win-win situation for both of us. 

Sabado na ngayon at wala akong pasok. I was planning on going home but this stupid rain ruined my plan. Simula paggising ko kaninang umaga ay umuulan na. Until now, it's already almost lunch time, ganoon pa rin. 

For sure baha na naman ang mga kalsada. This government should really think of a better solution about those clogging drainage. Sobrang laking abala not just for me but most of all sa mga taong naghahanap-buhay!

I was lying on my bed while reading a book entitled "Waves of Memories" by Jonaxx. 

I really love all her stories. And this one is so good! The transition is just so great. I always say "wow" whenever the scenes changed from past to present and vice versa. And Ali's character is just so pure! 

How I wish I'd find a love like Ali's love for Aia. They are so great together.  And damn that Aston Martin scene! Okay... I'll stop right there. 

I got my bookmark and put it on my latest page before I closed my book. I'm so hungry and I still have no food to eat. 

This is one of my problems, I don't know how to cook. I've been eating out for the whole week kaya hindi ko ito pinroblema ng mga nakaraang araw. But now that the rain isn't stopping and I can't go out, what would I eat? 

I suddenly missed home especially my Mom. She used to cook foods for us every weekends kasi complete kami sa bahay pag ganitong mga araw. And now, how would I eat? 

I put my book on my study table and went out of my room. Bahala na. I might fry some eggs or hotdogs. I think that's easy naman? How about rice? I don't know how to cook rice. Oh, I have rice cooker. Maybe there's a video tutorial in youtube?
