I was in the middle of a conversation when I sensed it. I stiffened, frowning I turned my head to look over.

Then I saw him, his eyes gleaming in the darkness. I felt my heart stopped momentarity, then quickened, my pulses leaping. There was something in that stare, hindi ko maipaliwanag. Parang magnet na humihila sa akin at nagpapainit sa paligid. I chuckled, no.. dahil sa alak marahil ito.

Sino kaya siya ? Narinig kong tanong ng utak ko. I want to know who he is.

' Who is that man ? ' I asked my friend Mench, her brother was the birthday celebrant. So maaaring kakilala niya yung gwapong lalaking iyon.

Napalingon din siya sa lalaking tinitingnan ko. ' Siya ba ? ' She asked.

I nodded, not taking my eyes off him. Ewan ko ba pero parang natatakot ako na bigla nalang siyang mawala at maglaho sa paningin ko.

' I don't know him, Belle. Maybe he's one of kuya Lander's friend in Manila. ' she shrugged. ' Why, type mo ?' She teased.

' Of course not ! ' I looked away.

' Gusto mong magpakilala ?' She asked, ' You can't take your eyes off each other ! Tss at last someone caught your attention. '

I felt my heart leaped and I became breatless.. because he smiled ! I looked away.

' Ihatid mo na nga ako sa labas. I want to go home na.. besides this party is boring !' Totoo boring talaga, kasi di naman ako mahilig sa mga party. Sinamahan ko lang naman ang bestfriend ko para raw hindi siya ma-OP sa party ng kuya niya.

' Okay your Highness ! ' She sarcastically exclaimed.

F*ck ! Ngayon pa talaga, saang lupalop ba ng Davao nagtago lahat ng mga sasakyan at wala ni isa mang dumadaan. Kanina pa ko pinagpipiyestahan ng mga lamok dito sa kinatatayuan ko.

' Hi , going somewhere else ?' Napalingon ako sa pinanggalingan ng boses, and there I saw him standing beside the night post.

He smiled, his eyes sliding over my body. ' No coat ?' He raised his brow as he studied my black dress. ' You're lovely with that dress, pero hindi ka ba nilalamig ?'

' A little. ' I smiled shyly.

' I wouldn't be a gentleman if I didn't offer you mine. ' His lips quirked seductively.

' You don't like one to me. ' I said softly. Hindi talaga siya mukhang gentleman sa paningin ko. Mukha siya Greek God na nagse-seduce sa isang mortal na mahina at marupok na katulad ko.

' I'm not really.' He murmured,' You want to go somewhere else ?' His voice was so inviting.

I don't really know him pero bakit pakiramdam ko, kilalang kilala ko siya.

' Where do you want to go ?' I raised my brow in seductive challenge.

He leaned towards me.

I couldn't move, my heart's beating too fast.

' Is that a yes ?' his eyes sparked with delight. I heaved a deep sigh and nodded.

Is this what they call Love at first sight ?
