23) Time to go

It was nearly time to go to the airport but first, they had to go to Jaida's to say final goodbyes. When they arrived, they noticed a large banner and balloons had been put up by the door. Crystal was smiling ear to ear but yet a small tear was starting in her eye. Gigi took her hand and moved her other hand to make Crystal look at her.
'Take your time Crys, but remember you're not leaving your friends, just the place. You can all visit whenever you want.' She reassured, kissing Crystal's forehead before both getting out the car.

Crystal was walking towards the door when Jaida and Widow jumped out of their hiding places to surprise her.
'We got cake!' They shouted making Crystal laugh as she took a slice.
Following the others inside, they sat down to enjoy cake as they laughed and played games and shared a few drinks. There were tears, smiles, jokes, hugs and a whole lot of love between all the girls. Gigi was trying to stay strong and support Crystal but it was difficult knowing that she was the reason for Crystal leaving. She almost felt like it was her fault Crystal was so sad but it was Crystal's choice after all. Jaida gave Crystal a present that her and Widow had quickly prepared as a leaving gift but said not to open it until she was in LA and settled down and unpacked. Crystal seemed weary and begged to open it then there, using her puppy dog eyes to try convince them. They told her no which made her upset but eventually she gave in and agreed. Everyone wished Crystal and Gigi the best and they shared the worlds longest hugs before leaving for the LA.

The drive was super long and for the first few minutes the car was completely silent except for Crystal's quiet whimpers as tears rolled down her face. She was sat in the back of the car with Gigi, snuggled tight together surrounded by boxes and bags whilst Rosy was driving. They had agreed to travel in two cars, one with Crystal and Gigi and one with Rosy, Jackie and Nicky but Rosy volunteered to drive until the first services so that Gigi could try cheer Crystal up. After a while, Rosy put on some music and started singing along with Gigi who tried to dance in the small space to make Crystal smile. She wasn't successful until she started doing a silly tiktok dance that Crystal would always do. Crystal stopped crying and began to laugh, shoving Gigi jokingly. She wrapped Gigi's arm around her to stop the dancing and snuggled her head into her shoulder to get some sleep until they got to the services. Gigi just stroked her hair and watched her fall asleep looking beautiful even through the drying tears and red eyes. It was going to be perfect soon, together in LA. Happy. In love. Nothing could ruin this now...
