Chapter 29
It had been barely a week since Cia was gone. But I feel like it was already a year. I miss her already. And I swear, I will do everything just so I could drag her back here.
"Why were you not attending your classes? Bro, seriously, if you continue on being like this, you'll fail almost all of your subjects. And if it happened, you'll be delayed," Joshua said, completely frustrated by me.
"Papasok ako bukas," sagot ko.
"Fine," he sighed. "Bakit mo gustong makipag-kita sa 'kin dito?"
I looked around the coffee shop to check if those big men followed me here. "Can I stay on your place for tonight?" I asked, his forehead creased. It got more weirder when even at my work, nakikita ko rin silang dalawa. That was not a coincidence anymore," I continued.
"Did they follow you on your way here?" Joshua asked, roaming his eyes around.
"I think not."
Do you know someone?"
Well, it was not really hard to tell. "What was it for?" he asked.
I shrugged. "I don't know... But one thing is for sure, she's all on me."
"You can stay at my condo," Joshua stated, nodding his head.
"Thanks, bro," I responded before sipping my coffee.

Joshua and I went on different ways. I don't know but while I was driving, there was something in my mind that urges me to go check an online pet shop. So when I arrived home, I quickly scanned through an online pet shop that I accidentally discovered yesterday.
Grabe, ang cute ng mga puppy!
But I got really interested in one puppy. It was a nine weeks old female shih tzu. 'Di ko alam kung na-gayuma ba ako ng aso na 'to because the next thing I knew, I was making an appointment with the seller.
What the fuck... just happened?
I didn't even bother to take a look at its price because I was so eager to buy that cute creature. I can't believe myself.
'Di na maganda 'to. I really can't get over with how I spent my 7k in just a few minutes.
But I'll just think of it as an investment for some sadness reliever... as if there was anything called like that. Because I really miss Cia. She once told me before that I should try having a pet. So... I should stop feeling bad about this thing.
"Gab, buti pumasok ka na ngayon. Dami mo nang absent ah. Delikado ka na nyan," JC told me after I went inside the staff room to wear my uniform.
