Epilogue (Part 2)

"I'm afraid your mouth might get erased from your face," I heard him say. Tsk.

"Where would you find a couple not kissing each other on their wedding day?" asked Alvis, chuckling.

"We're not a couple, have you forgot?"

"Well, we were getting married. So as the husband, I got the right to taste the lips of my wife in front of those bunches of people, right?"

"Just keep your mouth shut, will ya?"

Mabilis akong nag-martsa pabalik sa kwarto ko. I didn't know what I'm getting myself into... but the only thing I know I am sure about was... I want Gab and his family to be safe from Tita Karla.

And I'll do whatever I can just so he wouldn't lose his family again. I didn't want him to get through that pain again.

"Alvis."

"Woah, woah. What's with the serious tone, wifey?" he replied from the sofa.

"How many times do I have to tell you that you have to wash your dishes on your own?!" I shouted while staring at the unclean dishes in the sink.

"Why would I? When I have you who can do that for me..."

"I am not your slave," I said, gritting my teeth. Seriously... why can't he do this kind of small task on his own?

Spoiled brat.

"Fine! Just leave those goddamn dishes on the sink and I'll wash them later!"

"You keep on saying you'll do this later but you really don't! Seriously, Alvis?! Can you please stop acting like a child?"

"If you don't shut your mouth, I would put some tape on it! I don't need an earful from you, alright?!"

Since I had no choice, I decided to just continue studying college here. And as expected, with the help of Tita Karla, it all happened smoothly.

"I seriously think that we need a maid," I said.

Alvis laughed shortly. "Oh, chill out. You're suddenly giving me daggers."

"Seriously? I spent my whole day at school and this is what I'll come home to after a tiring day? Do you seriously expect me to be able to wash your clothes and those goddamn dishes once I get back from school?!" hinihingal kong sabi.

"Oh... okay, okay! You don't need to get mad at me... you know? My mom never gets mad at me for not doing some little chores," he replied. "And, I'll call mom right now to tell her that we need a maid for you to stop nagging me, alright? She'll take care of it. You fine now?"
