Chapter 38
"Nakapag-paalam ka na?" Cia asked when I went to her work to fetch her.
"Yeah. Ikaw?"
"Nakapag-paalam na rin."
Cia and I decided to have a short vacation sa Cebu. Sabi niya dapat na raw naming sulitin 'yung mga araw bago ako lumipad papuntang New York. And as much as she wanted this trip to be solely for the two of us, hindi naman pwede.
"Good. Puntahan na natin si Alvin."
"Pasalubungan na lang natin siya ng chicken nuggets bago natin siya sunduin sa bahay," she said, getting inside of my car and sitting to the passenger's seat.
"Sa tingin mo, nandun kaya sina Tito Danilo at Tita Camila ngayon?"
Parang gago 'yung tanong ko, I know. Which was so easy for me to do dahil sobrang laki naman ng Metro Manila and I don't really have any matters that were connected to them... except only for Cia.
It's been two crazy years.
Cia's face suddenly looked sad. I heaved a sigh. "Galit ka pa rin ba sa kanila?"
"Pa rin? Hindi naman ako nagalit sa kanila."
Her face looked like she wasn't buying anything from what I was saying.
"Fine. Medyo nagalit ako noon sa kanila for acting so okay with you being abducted by Ms. Karla's son. Of course that was my initial reaction when I learned about that. Sino ba namang hindi magagalit 'di ba? But, slight lang naman 'yun! Nabawasan naman 'yun because it was Tita Camila who told me where you were," sunod-sunod at mabilis kong sabi. Huminga ako ng pagka-luwag-luwag pagkatapos.
"Do you forgave them already?"
I shrugged. That could end the whole discussion for me..."

I asked, though mas gusto ko 'yung sa resto kami kakain para mas feel namin ang beach life.
"Oh, oh, mommy, I want to eat outside! I want to see the beach while I'm eating!" excited na sabi ni Alvin kay Cia.
Cia laughed. "Okay." She tousled his hair which surprisingly didn't annoy Alvin. "I'm sure you'll enjoy. There's a lot of food in there!"
"Is that true, Tito Gab?"
"Yes. They have buffet so you can get whatever food you want to eat." I smiled. And that seemed to hype him up because he was so eager to go to the resto.
"Sorry for Alvin. Hindi kasi kami madalas pumunta sa beach nung nandun pa kami sa London," said Cia when Alvin went to the restroom.
