Like what Joshua had exactly said, Cassy's birthday was just right around the corner.

I'm pretty sure Cia will be present there.

And it's not like I can ditch that party.

Cassy would gone mad.

'Di ko pa rin makalimutan iyong sinabi niyang hindi niya naman ako boyfriend. Tagos sa buto 'yung sakit.

Didn't she notice that the reason why I am protecting her is because I like her?

But it's so stupid of me to expect her to reciprocate my feelings when I know in the first place that she still loves that man.

But if ever she changed her mind and give me a chance, I would love her unconditionally.

Agad kong ibinaba ang aking kape nang mapadpad si Raven sa kusina.

"Hey. Can you tell me something about Cassy's birthday? I don't know what's up. Sorry. My fault."

Raven chuckled.

"It would be on Subic, Zambales. And she was being true to her words when she said that it was only us and her closest friends that are invited," sagot niya habang naiiling.

"Maybe she had finally learned that not everyone on college could be an ally." I shrugged.

I could vividly remember that time... when Cassy locked herself on her room for a week because she had known that her other friends were spreading rumors about her being pregnant. Sobrang tahimik ng bahay na ito noon dahil hindi lumalabas si Cassy sa kwarto niya. She even skipped school that time. Raven was furiously mad back then. We all were. Raven did everything to teach those girls their lesson.

We fucking hate two-faced people.

"What's with that face?" I asked when Raven's suddenly pouting.

"My baby girl's growing up so quickly."

"Yeah. And she's becoming even more louder every year." He just laughed.

We spent the rest of the day cackling about funny things that had happened in our life.

When weekend rolled over, we've been preparing for that small yacht party. Raven had such a wonderful gift for Cassy that would definitely shock her.

"You're not going in the same car with us, Kuya?" Cassy is currently being a boss to us because it's her day.

Diego quickly shook his head. "Nah. We'll see each other there. I'll just fetch Lani from her home. We won't ditch, baby girl, quit worrying."

Cassy was somehow relieved. After kay Diego, sa akin naman siya nagtatanong.

"Did you tell Joshua and Chris what I have told you?"

I nodded.

"I already informed them kung saan magkikita. Also, Chris said that he'll bring his girl."

"Sure."

After Cassy made sure that everything's going right today, we left the house. Sa Subic na mismo kaming lahat magkikita.

When we arrived, we waited for a moment to be completed. I can already see Cia from where I'm standing. She's wearing a beautiful beach dress and that rattan bag that I gave her.
