Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this is a criminal case alleging that on October 9 until October 12 2020, defendant Cleonadia Lee murdered six juveniles including her four friends and a female taxi driver. Therefore, I first want to know if any jurors have heard anything in the past, or read anything about Cleonadia Lee or this case?" sabi ng Judge. "Will the jury please swear in the clerk?" utos ni Judge Francois.
"Will the jury please stand and raise your right hand? Do each of you swear that you will fairly try the case before this court, and you will return a true verdict according to the evidence and the instructions of the court, so help you God?"
"I do," sagot naman ng bawat isa sa jury. "You may be seated," muling sabi ng clerk.
Matapos sumumpa ng jury ay sinimulan na ang paglalahad ng mga pahayag. "Victims' lawyer may proceed with its opening statement."
"Your Honor and ladies and gentlemen of the jury, the defendant has been charged with murdering seven people: Jèd Cornell, Norine Alejo, Audrey Pecson, Palette Da Vinci, Dion Rogue, Jaycee Da Vinci and Shane Calderon. The evidence will be shown in their vlogging camera that was stolen by Erwan Xanford on the night of October 9. Erwan has a footage of what the defendant did to Jéd. The next day, the defendant, Norine, and Dion got missing. October 11, Audrey wasn't responding on Paul Sanchez when he's knocking on her door to comfort her. And on the last day, October 12, Palette has been killed by the defendant; Norine and Audrey's bodies were found on the same day the defendant got caught. Jéd Cornell was crucified, Norine Alejo was killed by a heretics fork, Audrey Pecson was killed by rat torture, Palette Da Vinci was killed by blood eagle, Dion Rogue was beheaded, Jaycee Da Vinci was stabbed by a knife and Shane Calderon was slit in her throat. In this trial, there is no real evidence against my client. You'll know that the truth is—Cleonadia wasn't the one who's in the video. In Audrey's post in Instagram, she was wearing a black jacket that night. You can clearly see that the woman there wasn't wearing a jacket and is wearing a mask and gloves; so you can't easily determine if it's Cleonadia, since the video was too dark too. Besides, Cleonadia's hair is short but in the video, the woman's hair is longer than hers."
