Vyl did bring me new clothes but I didn't expect how odd it would be.
It's some kind of a knee-length light orange colored dress with thick white frills on the hem that made it look uncomfortable to wear. Not to mention its loose long sleeves with white linings. It also has a thin net-like veil attached on the back serving as some sort of a semi cape? I'm not quite sure what's it for.
Both of my collar bones are exposed and just below it, two pink small flowers are attached on the dress.
At first, I don't know how to exactly put it on but thankfully, Elliya helped me and I really did had a hard time wearing it. I never had imagined I would find myself getting annoyed by just putting on some clothes.
After finally wearing it right, I called Vyl to come inside the room because I told him to wait outside until I finish dressing up. Tinanong ko siya through mind link kung wala na bang mas kumportableng suotin dito. Ang bigat din kasi sa pakiramdam ng damit.
"You'll get used to it soon."
Tanging sinabi niya sa akin habang natatawa sa naka busangot kong mukha. I heaved a deep sigh out of irritation.
Elliya also helped me fix my long hair. She arranged it in a mysterious kind of braid. I can't describe it exactly but it looks like a braid but I think it was divided in more than four sections of hair. (A normal braid is divided in only three sections)
She also added some aesthetic clips and pins on it like hers. She left a few strands loose to frame my slightly pale face. Then she took something out of the nearby wooden closet that looks like make-up to me. She said it was called a 'collorrete' . Probably the counter part of make-up in this world.
Her hands were very light and gentle when applying it on my face. It didn't really take long. After everything, they made me wore a pair of what looks like sandals with three inches wedge-like heels. But again it has weird designs all over it making it uncomfortable to wear too.
Vyl smiled with satisfaction when he saw my whole get-up. I just arched my brow, not bothering to hide the irritation on my face. It's just that, I'm not comfortable with these weird clothes!
To think that I've slept for two days with no freaking shower. Elliya must have just wiped my body clean in those two days. I badly need to take a shower soon.
Pagkatapos kong maghanda, lumabas na ako ng silid. Just like what I expected, when I'm about to go out, the blue water door parted, leaving me all dry. Out of curiosity, I tried touching it with my free hand because Vyl is holding the other. The water avoided my touch. I giggled when I reached for it again but it still reacted the same.
Nang mapansin na nagmumukha na akong tanga sa ginagawa ko dahil nakangiti na si Vyl ng nakakaloko sa akin, tuluyan na nga akong lumabas ng silid.
Pagkalabas ay bumungad sa akin ang panibagong silid ngunit higit na mas malaki kaysa sa dati. Sa kabilang parte nito ay may mga nakahilerang higaan katulad ng hinihigaan ko kanina lang. Sa kabila naman ay may isang lamesa at silya. Sa gilid nito ay may isang daanan palabas.
Maybe this is their clinic? Elliya said she's a healer afterall.
"Vyl, you can heal wounds, right? Bakit may healer pa kayo kung kaya niyo namang gamutin ang sarili niyo?"
Wala lang. Curious lang naman ako. Lahat sila may kapangyarihan hindi ba? So, why do they need a healer?
He chuckled before answering, "I can heal wounds but I can't heal anything if it's internal. Like example, internal diseases and illness. I can't do anything about that."
