Chapter 30: Shadow Thief

"Klyne, what the fuck just happened?"

I am now sitting on the bed, a white blanket covering my almost naked body, hands on my chest trying to calm down the heavy pounding of my heart.

Wala sa sariling nakatitig ako kay Klyne na nasa pinakadulo ng kama. He's sitting there while also staring at me too. Malamang ay kanina pa siya nanonood sa hindi kanais-nais na nangyari kanina. I felt my cheeks heated again.

Napasabunot ako sa aking sarili. My mind is having a hard time to process what just happened a few minutes ago.

Dali-dali akong tumayo mula sa pagkakaupo sa kama at tumakbo papasok sa parang banyo kung saan makikita ang jacuzzi. I let the blanket slip from my body as I slowly walked towards the tempting bath. My body instantly relaxed the moment I sat on a mini dome-shaped structure filled with lukewarm water. Napapalibutan ito ng kumikinang na kulay puting semento. It looks elegant.

I let out a heavy sigh while playing with the water, creating soft ripples on the surface. Lumipad na naman ang utak ko sa nangyari kanina. I just realized that with just a single touch from him, my body would immediately and willingly submit.

I traced my skin with my wet hands, touching the parts where Vyl's hands traveled just a few minutes ago. Remembering our intimate moment and it struck me that I was more than willing to do more with him.

The fact scared me. I am really deeply in love with Vyl and... I wonder how far our love can go. Will it be enough to endure all the pain and sacrifices?

Pagkatapos magbabad sa tubig ng halos kalahating oras, naisipan kong magpahinga na. Umalis na ako mula sa pagkakababad at nagpunas ng sarili gamit ang isang nakahandang  tuwalya sa gilid. Paglabas ko, wala pa rin si Vyl sa silid kaya nakahinga ako ng maluwag. Nahihiya pa rin ako sa nangyari kanina.

I saw Klyne lying on the other side of the bed, sleeping peacefully. Nasa pinakadulo siya mismo ng kama na para bang alam niyang hindi lang ako ang hihiga doon ngayong gabi.

I sighed softly before opening the bag filled with my clothes. I pulled out a beige-colored spaghetti-strapped nightgown. This is one of the most comfortable clothes here in Pluvilia. I wore it with nothing underneath except my undies.

Pagkatapos ay diretso na akong nahiga sa kama, leaving space for Vyl to lie down later. Napailing ako sa sarili ko. I'm actually excited to sleep with him again after a few days of sleeping separately. What the fuck is wrong with me.

Pagkatapos ng ilang segundong pagtitig ko sa kisame, pumasok na si Vyl sa silid. He smiled at me first before entering the bathroom, probably taking a bath too.

Saglit lamang siya roon at agad na lumabas with his still wet hair. He's wearing nothing above, leaving his well-built body exposed again for my eyes to see. For the ninth time tonight, I felt my cheeks heated so I instantly looked away and buried my face on the pillow, trying to pull my shit together.

I heard his soft laughter echoed in the four corners of this room that made me even more awkward. Bakit parang wala lang sa kaniya ang nangyari kanina samantalang ako, hiyang-hiya na rito?

I felt the other side of the bed sunk with his weight so I lifted my head and saw him lying down, facing me with an amused smile curved on his lips.

"You look cute when you're shy."

I grunted and hit him hard on his shoulder. He laughed while touching me on the waist, pulling me closer to him. Pinag dikit niya ang aming mga noo at nagpakawala ng isang malalim na hininga. I closed my eyes when he started caressing my cheek with his other hand.

"I'm really sorry."

"Is that about what you did a while ago or is it about what happened with Pillow that night?" Though I already know the answer, I just want to mock him a little.
