I woke up when I felt something heavy on my tummy. Ang bigat!
I slowly opened my eyes and came face to face with a sleeping devil. Natigilan ako sa puwesto namin ngayon. Nakahiga kaming dalawa sa kama at nakayakap ang isang kamay niya sa aking baywang. Our lips are only inches away from each other. Dahil do'n ay napasigaw ako nang wala sa oras.
"What the fuck!"
Nagising siya sa lakas ng sigaw ko. Mabilis akong bumangon at tumayo sa gilid ng aking kama at niyakap ang aking sarili.
He groaned, "Woman, it's still early! Why the hell are you shouting?!"
Did he just shout at me? Seriously? Siya pa ang may ganang magalit? Galit din akong tumingin sa kaniya.
"You! Hindi ba't sinabi ko sa 'yo na sa sofa ka matulog? Why are you on my bed?!" Napipikon kong sigaw.
Nakakarami na 'tong lalaking 'to sa akin! Kagabi pa ako naiirita sa kaniya!
"I'm not comfortable there. It felt like my whole body would get cramped so I moved on the bed last night," paliwanag niya.
Parang may lumabas na usok sa tainga at ilong ko dahil sa matinding inis. Napapadyak na lamang ako at mabilis na lumabas ng kuwarto. Buwiset talaga!
He followed me in the living room with still sleepy eyes. He even yawned while scratching his half-closed eyes. "Hey, Heavenly. Make me a cup of coffee again."
I closed my eyes out of irritation. He feels so at home in my place up to the point that he's starting to boss me around. I then looked at the wall clock. Alas sais nang umaga pa lang. Nine o'clock pa ang simula ng klase ko. Mabuti na lang at maaga pa.
"Heavenly!"
I closed my eyes again, trying to calm myself down. I might punch him if I lose control. Dinaig niya pa si Colleen sa kakulitan! Bakit ba ako pinapaligiran ng mga isip-bata?
"I told you not to call me that! Call me, Ven! Ven lang!"
"Okay, fine. Make me a cup of coffee, then." I rolled my eyes at him. He's too bossy!
"Later. I'll take a shower first. Diyan ka lang! Huwag kang papasok sa kuwarto!" Malakas kong banta sa kaniya.
Nakita ko namang umupo siya sofa.
Good boy. Umismid ako bago siya talikuran. I went back in my room and walked inside the bathroom. Habang nag-aasikaso ay pumasok na naman sa isipan ko ang nangyari kagabi.
"Vylant Augen. It's nice to finally meet you, Heavenly Salazar."
I felt chills ran down my spine because of what he said. Bakit parang may iba pang kahulugan ang pagpapakilala niya? I don't like this feeling.
"What are you?" Nag-aalangan pa akong itanong sa kaniya 'yon. Sa hindi malamang dahilan ay parang ayaw kong marinig ang sagot. I already have an idea but I'm scared to hear it directly from him.
"It's a bit hard to explain but I'll try my best to make you understand everything." He inhaled a large breath before faking a cough. I got more nervous because of that. "I-I'm not from this world."
I expected that answer from him. Even though it's unbelievable, it's quite obvious. Though I can't help but to be frozen in place when he confirmed my thoughts.
"B-bakit kita nakikita? Or should I say, bakit ka nagpapakita sa akin?"
He knowingly looked at me before answering, "Heavenly, I need your help. You have something that can help me and my world."
Ano raw? I have something that can help him and his world?
"Ano naman 'yon? Anong meron sa akin? Wala namang kahit ano sa akin."
