"Merry Christmas!" Sabay-sabay naming bati sa isa't isa pagpatak ng alas dose.

I kissed Dad and Mom. Sa hospital pa rin kami dahil hindi pa pwedeng lumabas si Dad, mga isang linggo pa daw bago tuluyan siyang makalabas dito.

Lumapit ako sa mesa upang buksan ang wine. I tiptoed to kiss Vlad beside me.

"Merry Christmas." I greeted him.

Vlad kissed me back. "Merry Christmas Angel."

Narinig naming tumikhim si Daddy kaya lumapit kami dito. We spent the night eating and having a conversation together. Vlad and my parents tag along so well. They were shocked at first after hearing that Vlad is Mr. and Mrs. Cordova's only son. Mukhang tanyag talaga ang pamilya nila. We talked about business and family life. We laughed, we have fun just like how I imagined my Christmas would be.

Dad and Vlad were busy talking about something when Zei and Helene video called me.

"Merry Christmas Balibera!" Agad na bungad ni Zei sa akin.

Tinapat ko ang phone ko sa mga kasamahan ko.

"Merry Christmas everyone Tito, Tita, Vlad!" Bati rin ni Helene.

I can see from their background that they are both having some fun together with their family.  We talked about random stuffs. Miss na miss na daw nila ako gayong ilaw pa lang akong umalis ng bansa. Tinanong ko sila kung saan nila balak pumunta pero hindi nila ako sinagot sa halip ay sinabi nilang hindi sila magaout of town kung wala ako.

Vladimir and I went home at 5. We wanted to stay there but my parents won't let us. We were so tired that we headed straight to the bed. Vlad lie down beside me, I didn't complaint anymore because I know he's sleepy already.

When I woke up it is already 8 in the morning. I decided to visit the office since I wanted to know the status of the business. Vlad was still sleeping that's why I didn't bother to wake him up. I'll just call him later.

I drive myself to the main building. Noong makapasok ako ay agad akong binati ng mga empleyado. Ofcourse they recognize me, who wouldn't be? I'm going to be their next boss very soon. Early bird ang mga tao dito kaya marami-rami ang sumalubong sa akin. Did they know that I'm coming? Hindi na ako nagtaka pa knowing Mom malamang pinaghanda niya talaga ang kumpanya.

If I have Cindy in the Philippines, I have an assistant here too and her name is Fatima. Agad itong tumabi sa akin pagpasok ko sa elevator.

"Good morning Ma'am, welcome to Amor Corp." Masayang bati nito.

"Good morning, I'm here to check up on the business. Please bring me everything that I need to know." Maawtoridad pero mahinahon kong sabi. I need to have this kind of attitude so that no one will underestimate me.

"Right away Ma'am."

Dumiretso ako sa aking opisina. Yes I have my own office here in the 9th floor while the CEO's office is in the top floor, right above my office.

Mula sa glass wall ng aking opisina ay makikita ang napakalawak na syudad ng New York. Sobrang lawak, madaming mga sasakyan at mga nagtataasang building. It looks wonderful here at night especially when the city is filled with bright artificial lights.

Fatima went inside my office and hand in some documents.

"Here's everything Ma'am, if you want anything else just page me." Sabi nito bago lumabas.
