"Congratulations ma'am."

Napangiti ako habang nagpapalakpakan ang mga empleyado ko. I just closed the biggest investment deal with the Lim Group of Companies.

Walang tigil pa rin sila sa pagbati sa akin hanggang sa makapasok ako sa aking opisina. Dumiretso ako sa aking upuan at sinimsim ang latte na inorder ko kanina habang nakatingin sa mga nagtatayuang building mula sa aking bintana.

Napangiti ako. I finally made this far. Mom and Dad are already resting and traveling the world just like what they wanted. DF Corporation has finally reached the top and considered one of the best restaurant in the world. All of these happened because of my hardwork and determination. At last, I've proven myself to everyone.

"Ma'am?"

Bigla akong napaayos ng upo nang pumasok si Fatima.

"Mr. Lim is here to talk to you in person."

Napatayo ako. "Really? Let him in."

Inayos ko ang aking sarili. Ang assistant lang ni Mr. Lim ang present kanina dahil may emergency daw ito. I never had a chance to meet him, and I'm finally able to thank him today.

Nang marinig kong pumasok ito ay agad akong humarap sa kaniya at binigay ang pinakamasiglang bati ko.

"It's good to finally meet you...." Natigilan ako nang makita ang pamilyar niyang mukha. "Mr. Lim."

"It's nice to finally meet you again Miss Dela Fuente."

Inisip kong mabuti ang kaniyang pangalan ngunit hindi ko ito maalala. He's a stranger from four years ago after all.

"I'm sorry I forgot your name but obviously it's not Rafael."

Tumawa siya sa sinabi ko. "Yes of course, he's my father."

Mr. Rafael Lim is the original investor but recently he said his son will take charge that's why.

"Okay... uhm." Fuck I really forgot his name!

"Ryder. Same old Ryder."

Ryder lend his hand to me at tinanggap ko naman iyon.

Nagkatinginan kami sandali at nang mailang ako ay agad akong bumitaw sa kaniya. "Sit down please."

"Wow. I didn't know it was you. I'm so sorry I really had no idea." Sabi ko sakaniya.

"It's fine, sinadya ko talagang hindi ipakilala ang sarili ko sayo Miss Dela Fuente."

"Just call me Eliss. It's better that way."

Hindi ako komportableng yun ang itawag niya sa akin. Naiilang pa rin ako sa tuwing may mga kakilala ako na ma'am at miss ang tinatawag sa akin lalo na kung hindi ko sila katrabaho. I don't know, I find it awful.

"Okay then, Eliss."

"So you mean, nakilala mo na ako bago pa man ang investment?"

"Sort of."

Tumaas bigla ang kilay ko. Don't tell me he's stalking me? He's doing this to get me?

"Oh no no Eliss, it's not what you think. My Dad is the one who wants to invest in your company not me. It's definitely a coincidence or I guess.. destiny?"
