"Pesto Chicken Bake and Green Chilli Vermicelli please." Vlad said.

The waiter then approached me. I just order the same.

"How about your drinks sir?"

"Two glasses of red wine will do."

I looked at Vlad and he just smiled at me. I wonder what's going on inside his mind now. I wonder how the way he's been living. Was he alright in the past four years? Was it hard for him to move on? There's a lot of questions I wanted to ask him but I my mouth can't utter any words. It's so hard to open up again. There's still a doubt, if I should give him a chance or not. Nasaktan ako ng sobra e, hindi basta-basta ang dinanas ko.

And yet, I don't know if I'm doing the right thing.

"Kamusta ka?" He asked.

"I'm good." Trying to sound so casual in front of him.

"I know." What? Magtatanong siya tapos alam din naman pala niya?

I don't want to assume but I want clarification in here. "Did you stalk me?"

Vlad then looked so guilty. "I'm not. I just heard things."

"You do realize I can sue you for that Attorney?"

"I am not. I just did some small investigation that's it."

"Wow now that's sound so wrong." I tried not be too sarcastic. But hell? Where's privacy in there? He's using his connections to stalk me? Why then?

"Look Eliss, I'm sorry. I don't have any bad intentions, I just wanna know if you're fine."

"But why? Wala na tayo nun Vlad. I have nothing to do with you anymore."

Bigla siyang yumuko at nang tumingin siya sa akin ay kita ko ang lungkot sa mga mata niya.

"I know but still, I can't get over you. I even tried to follow you but my friends stopped me. I'm so desperate that's why I stalk you. I just wanna know you're doing fine Eliss."

"Vlad" I don't know what to say.

"I tried to approach you too last year when I went to New York but I didn't. I'm afraid you're still mad at me, I don't wanna ruin your life. But now, hell I don't care I still love you and I'm not going to miss my chance again."

I'm literally speechless of what he said.

"Still I don't wanna rush you. I know you're still hurt. I'll wait until the moment you are already healed."

I feel a sudden burst of emotion. My heart is pounding inside. Ginawa niya ba talaga ang lahat ng iyon para sa akin?

The whole dinner I was wordless, still processing everything that Vladimir just said. Kaya nang matapos na akong kumain ay inaya ko na siyang umuwi.

On our way home, Vlad got a call from someone.

"Yes okay wait for me. I'll be there." Blad said before ending the call.

"I'm sorry Eliss but can we stopped over for a minute?" He looked so worried.

"Sure." Sabi ko na lang.

"Stay in the car. I won't take long." Vlad said when we arrived in front of a house.

Kaninong bahay kaya ito?

I saw a woman coming out from the gate and quickly hugged Vlad who was just approaching.

Biglang kumirot ang puso ko knowing na si Amber ang babaeng iyon, and she's damn crying! I saw Vlad tapping her back while embracing her.
