Vlad and I were quiet the whole ride. He tried to open up to me but ended up shutting his mouth. Tss nacucurious tuloy ako sa gusto niyang sabihin. We arrived at the venue, five minutes late. Hmm not so bad.

Tons of business tycoons showed up in front of us. Mostly in their middle age. Mukhang konti lang yata kaming bata dito. Yung iba mga anak lang ng mga businessman.

I felt Vladimir's hand on my waist when a man wearing a uniform guided us to our table.

"Oh look who we have here." The man in his middle age wearing a black suit said when he saw us coming.

"Eliss Jane Dela Fuente from the DF Corporation." I lend my hand to him and he kissed the back of my palm.

"It is my pleasure to meet the young heiress of the Dela Fuente's. I'm Luciano Ventura." Nakangiting sabi nito.

"Mr. Ventura, hmm congratulations on your new investment by the way, I heard your hotels are so successful."

I did some research to those who will attend the party. I do this always. Para naman hindi ako mapahiya kapag kaharap ko na sila. It's for the company's best ika nga ni Cindy. Good thing naalala ko ang Luciano Ventura sa mga nabasa ko.

"Wow. I'm glad you heard about that." He glanced at Vlad beside me. "So who's this good looking young man of yours?"

"Mr. Ventura, have you forgotten? It's the sexy Cordova you're talking to." Nilapit pa nito ang sarili niya sa lalaki para mas lalong maintindihan nito.

"Oh, Vlad? I'm sorry I did forgot. How are you? You look great son." Bati nito kay Vlad.

Mukhang matagal na silang magkakilala.

"Nah, I'm just fresh as always." Biro nito na nakapagpatawa naman sa matanda.

"So you're with Ms. Dela Fuente?" He asked.

May binulong si Vlad sa kaniya na hindi ko maintindihan. The man just laughed and invited us to sit down. Kunot noo tuloy akong tumingin kay Vlad, baka kasi kung ano ang sinabi niya sa matanda at mapagkamalan pa kaming.... Tss alam mo na. Pero ang gago ay nakangisi lang walang balak na kausapin ako tungkol dun.

I then realized that we're actually 5 in the table. Me, Vlad, Mr. Ventura, Mr. and Mrs. Buenavista, the owner of Elite Media Company who just  arrived. We have a small talk and a few minutes later they serve us food. I quite enjoy the food, it's delicious pero hindi rin ganoon karami ang kinain ko.

I roamed my eyes around, everyone is busy conversing to each other, obviously talking about business while on the small stage is some band playing mellow music, making the atmosphere more comfortable and less uneasy for everyone.

If your asking where Vlad is, he's not in our table. He's busy talking with some businessman he knows. Tss mukhang mas marami pa ang kakilala niya dito kaysa sa akin. Pinabayaan ko na lang siya kaysa sa magmukha siyang tanga dito sa table dahil wala lang namang may nagsasalita. Nabobored tuloy ako hayss.

"So Ms. Dela Fuente I heard about your investment in Morocco. " Mrs. Buenavista asked. Finally someone to talk to.

"Yeah. We're actually starting the construction now. People's demand there are so high that's why minamadali ang pagpapagawa ng resto." I said.

"That's good. I'm sure it'll be successful." sabi naman nito.

"How about you Ms. Dela Fuente planning to inherit the company?" Sumabat na rin sa usapan si Mr. Ventura.

"Ofcourse, she's the only heiress right?" Mr. Buenavista said.

"Hmm. I heard a different story." Mr. Ventura added.

Before they could say more mas mabuting unahan ko na.

"Yes, I will take over the company. Actually I'm planning to work there as soon as I graduate."

"That's good to hear. I hope you'll do the best." Mrs. Buenavista smiled at me.

I just smiled back. "Please excuse me for a minute."

I leave them to get some wine. I figured out I need it to make me less worry and bored.

"Ms. Dela Fuente are you okay?" Tumaas ang kilay ko sa kaniya. Tss so hindi na siya busy ngayon kaya nandito na siya sa tabi ko.

"Grabe ang tagal mong nawala ah, ganun ba talaga kadami ang kilala mo dito?" Sumimsim ako ng wine at sumandal sa counter.

"Hindi naman. I did make out kasi with a girl." He whispered to me.

Nagulat ako sa kaniyang sinabi kaya nailuwa ko pabalik sa glass ang wine. Fuck him kailangan ba talaga niyang sabihin yun?!

"Ano ba! Aisshh" I called the waiter and asked for another glass.

"Kidding... I've been wanted to asked you this kanina..... Bakit nga pala hindi mo suot ang regalo ko ngayon." nagulat na naman ako sa kaniyang sinabi. Buti na lang dahil hindi na tumilapon ang iniinom ko.

"Tss hindi ko naman talaga sinusuot yun."

His brows meet. "Why? Pangit ba?"

"Hindi. Pangit ang nagbigay!"

Biglang nandilim ang mukha niya. Looks like he is pissed. Buti nga sa kaniya!

"Anong sabi mo?" He breaks the distance between us at sobrang lapit na niya ngayon sa akin.

"Wala... Tabi nga!" Tinulak ko siya bago pa man niya ako magawan ng masama. Hindi pwede no.

Hinatak niya ako sa braso pero agad din itong binawi ng may tumawag sa kaniya.

"Vlad oh my God I didn't expect to see you here." The girl kissed him in his cheek. Nakatulala lang ang gago mukhang hindi niya iyon inasahan.

"Faith?"

"Hell yes! Dad said you're here kanina kaya hinanap kita." Ngayon naman ay nakapulupot na ang kamay ng babae sa braso ni Vlad.

Hmm. Tumaas ang kilay ko habang nakatingin sa kanila when Vlad realized that I am still here!

"Oh uhm.. Eliss this is Faith, Mr. Ventura's daughter." pagpapakilala ni Vlad sa akin ng babae.

The girl look at me like she's trying to start a fight. She even faked a smile to me to please Vlad. Ugh!

"Hi." malanding sabi nito.

"Tss" yun lang ang nasabi ko at umalis na.

Aaminin kong lahat ng masasamang ugali na sa akin na pero wala doon ang pagiging plastik. Yun talaga ang pinakaayaw ko sa lahat. Yung mga plastic! Kagaya na lamang ni Veronica tss!

Hindi ako bumalik sa aming table dahil awkward lang rin kaya mas pinili kong maglakad-lakad na lang sa loob. I talked to someone who'll ask something about me and the bussiness but that's all. I spent the night almost doing nothing but to acknowledge someone's presence. Paminsang-minsan ay hindi nakakawala sa paningin ko si Vlad at ang babae. They're just talking lang naman pero nag-iinit ang ulo ko. Sobrang flirt kasi ng babae.

I looked at my phone and check the time. It's almost midnight na pala. Balak ko na sanang umuwi ng maalalang may kasama pala ako at worse ay sasakyan niya pa ang gamit ko.

I went to where Vlad and that girl is sitting. Nasa harap na nila ako pero mukhang hindi nila ako napansin kaya tumikhim ako. Nagtataka akong tiningnan ni Vlad habang pinandidilatan naman ako ng babae. Mukhang sinasabi ng paningin nito sa akin na istorbo ako sa kanila.

Hindi ko siya pinansin at hinarap si Vlad "Time to go home."

"Oh yeah, okay." Tumayo na siya pero agad itong pinigilan ng babae.

"Let her go first Vlad, we're not done yet." Nagpapalambing na sabi nito kay Vlad. Nagbuntong-hininga na lamang ako. Don't tell me magcocommute ako pauwi nito?

"I'm sorry but I have a new motto in life. It's 'Eliss first'."
